Nice pencil sharpeners

When you buy a new pack of pencils or crayons, they all come sharpened smoothly to a point. Nearly every sharpener I use after wearing down the tip, never gets me that smooth sharp point again. This is one of the few sharpeners that sharpens correctly.

This is one of several sharpeners that I own. I teach and find the container sharpeners useful to reduce pupil movement. This sharpener has been in use for around a year and is now losing it's edge. I will try to hone this before buying again. The lid snapped off and has been discarded; it didn't really perform any useful function as this is aways left out on a desk. Sharpens well and has kept it's edge as long as any sharpener of this type.

This is just the right size for what I was looking for. Keeps all the shavings away without making a mess and is compact enough to keep around. If you look inside You will notice that You can buy a replaceable sharpener that just needs a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the housing. Its their standard metal sharpener that goes in there. As with any pencil it sometimes breaks the lead but I feel that is due to the pencil and sharpening technique. Grip is good and I like the low profile design.

On my third. one in 8 years, best little pencil sharpener for me. As long as you have good quality pencils most sharpeners are ok, crap pencils don't sharpen....

After recently taking up adult colouring books, I now needed a good pencil sharpener in order for my pencil tips to really get into some of the smaller details of the picture. Using a standard sharpener was ok, but I found that the shavings were getting all over the place, plus to was very easy to lose - hence purchasing this one. It arrived the next day and I am just delighted with it. It catches all the shavings in its base which is easily removed to be emptied, it sharpens my pencils very well, plus it has a plastic flap to cover the hole where you insert the pencil when its not in use. Nice to hold, large enough not to get lost and ultimately very tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product. A good 5 star rating from me.

This is a great little pencil sharpener bit more money than wanted to pay but a colleague as one and found them. Really good so worth the money

I bought this with the intention to use it to sharpen my colouring pencils. I'd read some reviews and many users said it was great with their colouring pencils so I bought it. It keeps snapping off the lead and so I've stopped using it. It sharpens normal pencils perfectly fine which is why I've given it three stars but I just won't be using it with my colouring pencils NIUTOP 72/48/36 Color Art Colored Pencils, Drawing Pencils For Artist Sketch / Adult Coloring Books/Secret Garden Coloring Book (72 Colors) again.
