These are made of lightweight plastic material. So far quality has held up. i bolted on magnets to the end of arms so i could mount them to steel railings when doing light inspections. Now i can see front and rear lights from the cab, without having to step out.

I have bought 3 of these (6 mirrors total). Poor packaging is why 4 of the 6 mirrors had cracks in them. Hence the reason for the high return rates. As the product itself is cheap and flimsy but will likely hold up over time. I tossed the garbage sleeves anchors that are included. The ones they provide will not stand up to exterior use..

Our driveway requires us to quickly turn to back out of 2 of the 3 garage bays. Purchasing 2 of these mirrors allowed me to see how close the front bumper is the the door way opening when backing the car out and turning sharply. The flexible mounting allowed me to put one on a cabinet and the other on a garage door rail. The mirror construction was lightweight and they are very clear to use. My only knock was the mounting arm was a bit flexible. But these are mounted out of the way, so not a big deal for my needs and if bumped the bracket would likely give without breaking.

I thought I needed a larger mirror but the 12 inches are perfect.

Easier to install than the instructions imply. We just used regular dry wall screws. It's very light
