Can this unit be installed in the wall?

Yes, (ours is mounted in the wall).

Does the 14,000 lg fuel inverter ac have a slide in chassis? If so can I just install it by just putting it in window the way it comes?

Difficult, should take out of chassis and mount empty chassis, then slide unit into it. Quite heavy needs support outside.

I have a 24" width window. Will the 12000 btu or the 10000 btu side with the side pieces installed?

The AC is about 19 inches wide, so I'd give a cautious yes answer
