These are actually excellent knives for cutting sandwiches, tomatoes and meats. They are sharp but offer enough resistance to avoid cutting your fingers. I hide my dogs medicine in fajitas steak strips by cutting a small slit in them. My god he loves it and hasn’t found a single pill. I have more expensive knives that have a pointy tip but I prefer these.

I've had these only 2 days and am ordering a second set. I had been looking for a rounded tip serrated knife to replace my "vintage" knives that I use multiple times a day in the kitchen. These are perfect and dishwasher safe. They are sharp, but I was able to cut a pear in such a way that the serrated edge would lightly bump against my thumb without getting cut. I will use them for everything and finally throw those old ones away! We eat a lot of fresh produce, and yes I have "good" paring knives, but I was tired of washing them multiple times a day. No, you are not going to set your china and crystal table with these knives as another reviewer said, but you can see that in the picture. They are lightweight, but they do not bend. I have cut carrots with them as well as avocados, strawberries, and red pepper. I haven't tried them on meat yet, but I'm sure they will be great based on how they cut the carrots.

Great item. I use them for everything from sandwiches to steak.

I like these knives so much that I bought another pack of 6 and I guard them jealously. They are practical and sharp. Prepping vegetables with them makes the task a pleasure. I am more surprised everyday by their usefulness. They will be my Christmas present to every cook I know. By the way, if you know how to clean and strip an artichoke in the Italian fashion, this is the knife for that job.

Best knife I've had for slicing tomatoes. I found it less than stellar a cutting steaks.

These are exactly what I wanted - affordable serrated knives that I can put in the dishwasher. Plastic handles, nothing fancy but good quality and durable blades. I've been using & dishwashing them for some time and and no issues. They are very sharp and require caution use if you're not used to that but sharp and practical is what I was after.

I was disappointed in these Giesser knive(s). The handle is too short and the texture of the plastic handle is too smooth. Comparing them to my Victorinox tomato/steak knives, the handles on Giessers are about half of inch shorter and that makes a big difference for someone like me with large hands. Giesser knives went back to Amazon. I attached photos of both the Giesser and Victorinox knives side by side for comparison so you can see the difference in handle length. Giesser (green).
