Writing this review after around 4 months of use. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the chimney. The suction power is very good, even though my exhaust pipe is approximately 10 ft or more long. It still performs well. There are 9 speed settings. For heavy cooking such as frying, I usually use the Boost mode for 3–4 minutes, after which the chimney automatically settles to full-speed mode. The suction is effective even with this relatively long duct. The auto-clean function is available. Interestingly, I have not noticed any oil collected in the oil tray so far, so I cannot comment on the long-term effectiveness of the auto-clean feature yet. Noise-wise, it is quite loud at full speed, but at speeds 3–4 the noise is negligible and comfortable for regular cooking. It comes with a remote control and has a 3-minute auto-off delay timer, which is convenient. The design also looks better to me than the typical horizontal or triangular chimneys. The lighting is useful, but the light quality could have been better. One minor issue occurred once: the electronics seemed to hang—the lights were working but the fan did not start. I switched it off and waited around 5 minutes, after which it worked normally. This has happened only once in four months, so I am not considering it a major issue at present. Regarding installation, the Glen technician did not come for installation, so I arranged a local technician. Installation was fairly straightforward, and the chimney comes with the required mounting screws. Overall, after 4 months of use, I am happy with the performance. If you are specifically looking for strong suction, I would consider this a good option.

I have recently purchased a Glen hood Rica 60 curved glass kitchen chimney through Amazon. The product has been received by me intact. Installation is scheduled & done by authorised company technician very well. Chimney is nicely working.

Look is really good. Installation was quick. Need to pay extra for pipe 1000/- and installation 600/- But it’s worth it. Use glen only for installation.

Don't buy it .within 1 year raised approximately 6 complain bad service given by Glen. Everytime required 4 to 5 times follow up after that engineer visit and randomly told that faulty mother board but they will not replace it. Very bad don't buy it

Service response is very slow ,, i have order this chimney - but service center is not recieving my calls ,, chimney installation ke vese ki vese rkhi hui hai ,, if i do installation my self then i will not be eligible to claim warenty,, i have call to customer care ,,and log complains through wattsup number but no proper response is there , uou can see my screen shot , Glen bot registor my complains and saying that i will recieved call in 24hrs but not recieved any call,s ,, i am looking this fake company which making fools the people , finaly i will not recommend to take any product from Glen,,becouse service support is most important things

It came intact without any damage, the product is very good at this price range.
