As it says in the product title, it is water resistant (not waterproof; not sure why people are complaining about this as it is clearly stated). I have a 60lb damp farm dog that romps all over it and it has done a great job protecting the couch so far.

My couch is 90 inches long. If I bought two regular couch sizes, would it work if I tucked in the excess, covering each half of my couch per cover?

My sofa is 80 inches, will the 88 inch be too large? My other sofa is 59 inches, will the 66 inch be too big?

Measure between the arms of them to see what that is. If it measures 80 inches then 80 inches is what is needed.
