I was very pleased with this globe. While I must confess, I was surprised at the prices of globes overall, this one was very reasonable compared to some others I looked at. I purchased it for use in my children's Sunday school classroom. It is a great size. Large enough for them to see the smaller countries clearly, and brightly colored which also helps. It doesn't have so many cities printed on it that the words are cluttered and hard to read, but everything a child would look for is there. The only thing that prevented me giving it a fifth star is that the base is a little light for it to spin very well.

My daughter has been obsessed with geography and planet earth so I surprised her with this globe as a Christmas gift and she loves it. I used it as a 3D model on how the earth spins and orbits around the sun which was a fun lesson thanks to this globe. It arrived on time and in great condition. It arrived in a box which was perfect for wrapping and super easy to assemble. I can see her using this globe for many school activities or lessons in the future so it was well worth the money.

Globe is a durable plastic, stand is a little bendy but fine for average user. I probably wouldn't buy this if you are a teacher, I don't think it would hold up to kids in the class.

My grandson asked for this for Christmas. We have family all over the world and he loves looking at where they are. After it was assembled, he said it was the best thing ever. It is the perfect size for him. Loved the different colors that represented the different countries. Easy to assemble and comes with a nice stand for it to rotate on.

Beautiful colors and easy to read although printing is small. This globe is plastic and assembles by snapping the 2 halves together forming the equator. This seam is not unattractive and easily assembled and added to the stand. The stand is very light weight and plastic and I subtracted a star for that. I am keeping this because for the price and colors and readability, it is perfect on my desk. The stand holds the globe easily as it is lightweight as well.

It’s plastic. It’s not very sturdy and it was hard to get the two halves (yes, the globe comes in two halves that you snap together) together to be flush) There are a couple of other plastic pieces that go on it, as well. The lettering is pretty small, as a result and can be difficult to read at first glance. I was expecting a better made item for the sticker price. Returning.

I purchased this 20cm globe as an educational toy for my grandson and, in that role, it is absolutely excellent. The colours are vibrant, the countries are clearly labelled, and it seems sturdy enough to survive enthusiastic handling by curious youngsters. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of assuming that a globe depicting the entire Earth might also be suitable as a primary navigation aid for a solo round-the-world sailing expedition. Within a week of departing Southampton, I discovered that plotting a transoceanic route on a sphere roughly the size of a large grapefruit presents certain practical limitations. Coastlines proved difficult to follow, ocean currents were not particularly detailed, and the lack of GPS integration became increasingly apparent as Spain appeared unexpectedly on my horizon. The voyage ultimately concluded with an intervention by the Spanish coast guard, who gently explained that modern maritime navigation has now advanced somewhat. To be fair, nowhere in the product description did it explicitly state "suitable for solo ocean navigation," so I cannot entirely blame the manufacturer. As a children's educational globe: 5 stars. As a replacement for nautical charts, satellite navigation, and centuries of maritime expertise: 1 star.

Buen tamaño, los nombres vienen en inglés. Buenas calidad y buen color.

A very good size and really well presented. Easy to read and great for teaching my kids. More importantly the kids love looking at it and asking me questions which was what I wanted and sometimes something they have learnt something or watched something on tv/internet and then we can refer to the globe. I previously bought (and returned) a smaller one which looked the same and seemed ok, but the smaller size made it less interesting and difficult to follow ( the globe itself looked good) and once we got this replacement, we realised that getting a bigger one made a difference to the children's interest levels
