Fantastic little soup maker that is going to be very well used
I am the only member of my family who loves soup. I have thought about buying a soup maker before because the tinned soups I buy have a lot of salt and preservatives, which are not good for my kidneys, but I didn't want a machine which made lots of soup that I would have to eat for days on end, or freeze. Then I saw this little baby - and I had to have it! Before buying it I looked at all the reviews and all the recipes from the company and was really impressed. I chose the sage green (such a pretty colour), and it arrived last night. I couldn't wait to get started today! One of my favourite soups is leek and potato, and I had all the ingredients in the house already, so armed with the recipe provided by Justme, off I went. I chopped up two small potatoes, a good chunk of leek, popped in a small handful of frozen diced onions and a bit of dried thyme and then used half a stock cube melted in 200ml of water. I popped everything into the soup maker, making sure I did not go past the Maximum mark inside, put the lid on and pressed the start button. Then I went away for 15 minutes or so. I could hear it working its magic and after 19 minutes there were 3 beeps and the soup was done. I was amazed when I poured it out - I got a lovely smooth creamy soup which was red hot. The smell was divine. It makes 300ml of soup - which filled my normal soup bowl, and I had it with crusty ciabatta for lunch. Gorgeous. And now for another huge advantage - it actually cleans itself. Yes, really!!! After I made the soup I filled it with water to the maximum mark, put one very small drop of washing up liquid into it, put on the lid and pressed the Clean button. It whizzed around several times, stopping and starting and only took a few minutes before it beeped and was done. When I opened the lid I poured out the water and rinsed it with clean water and it was sparkling clean. No need to wash it myself. Brilliant. There is a little brush which is included in case anything gets stuck on the blades, but I didn't need it. I have to say that the recipes provided on the Justme website are really helpful. I have a shopping delivery tomorrow and am getting a stock of products which I can use to make lots of different soups. Their Youtube videos are also very informative. Tomorrow I will be making cream of mushroom, and then asparagus, but the great thing about this is that once you get familiar with it you can make all kinds of soups using whatever you have left in the fridge and in the cupboard - and you can use frozen vegetables so you don't have to have fresh vegetables to make really tasty soup. There is a button for chunky soup and for smooth soup so you can choose whatever you want, and it also makes smoothies - ideal for breakfast and warm summer days. I am so impressed - I really wish I had bought this a long time ago, and I know it is going to be one of the most used gadgets in my kitchen (even better as it is just the size of a thermos flask so takes up no space at all)!

Makes tasty soup in a relatively short time.
Great product. Have used it multiple times and it makes lovely soup. Like that it only makes one bowl of soup so no temptation to have more. Looks good, nice size (fits inside a kitchen drawer), easy to set up, easy to clean, easy to follow product manual, tasty recipes. Takes a while to realise that not a lot of veg is needed to make a tasty soup.

Provides a fairly quick, healthy meal - so easily
This little soup maker makes a soup just for one. Add a slice of your favourite bread to make a more filling meal. You can set the soup maker to clean itself while you are eating - a blessing! Because it is so small you don't need a huge clear area of kitchen to use it, and you don't need much space to store it away. Preparing your veg, or whatever, is pretty easy as you are not trying to make masses of soup. Just a few items to cut up fairly small. I found it took a couple of times to get used to preparing the right quantities. You can choose chunky or smooth soup, and you can use it as a blender to make smoothies. I'm so glad I bought it and it's helping me to eat healthier: lots of vegetables!

Great gadget
I live alone and wanted a soup maker but they were all too big for my needs. This soup maker makes one bowl of soup in 20 minutes. Choices are chunky, blended or smooth! There is a clean function too. So far I’ve chucked in some chopped up cauliflower, broccoli, onion and made a quick soup. I threw in some left over cooked veg from a tray bake and with stock it was a perfect soup! Then I’ve put in A tin of the precooked carrots and peas I bought from the supermarket today and it was so delicious. The clean function is quick and easy and means it’s all done really simply. Make sure you stand it on a solid surface, as it gets quite agitated when blending. It doesn’t fall or move but best to be sure. Have recommended it to several friends and I reckon it is a great gift. It’s going to make a great gift for that friend who loves soup when no one else does. It’s not cheap but it will be value for money for me after about 25 bowls of soup using stuff up in my fridge and freezer.

Happy I’ve bought this handy soupmaker
Perhaps a considered purchase for one person but worth every penny. My first attempt wasn’t that good but was tasty. Since then I’ve been on the Justme website and tried nearly all of the recipes now and I’m so pleased I can make soup for one but I needed to get used to the amount of ingredients in each recipe. As yet haven’t tried the smoothies so can’t comment on that. Really happy I bought it as it is a gadget that I’ll use on a regular basis. Certainly easy to use.

Your next kitchen gadget
We used to have a soup maker/blender but needed a new one & after scrolling the Amazon pages I really liked the look of this one & so I bought it. It is an excellent kitchen gadget that looks nice but doesn't take up much room. This is mainly because it is designed as a one-serving soup & smoothie maker. We're still experimenting with flavours but the soups & smoothies we've made so far have been delicious & so quick & easy to make. For example: 1 carrot, 4 diced potato cubes as a thickener ( straight from the freezer is fine ) half a vegetable stock cube ( it's stated in the manual not to use a whole one ) & some water. 19 minutes later you have lovely carrot soup. As for a smoothie, today I put in a banana, some vanilla ice cream & some chocolate-flavoured milk. 2 minutes is all it takes for a very nice drink to be made. Another good thing is how easy it is to clean, it takes about the same amount of time as it does to make a smoothie. Pour some water in, add one drop of washing-up liquid & choose the Clean function. Job done. We really like this item & are pleased with our choice.

How did I manage without it???
As I live alone, I find full-sized soup makers encourage me to eat too much ("I'll just have a bit more. Well, that amount isn't worth saving, I may as well finish that, too" ...) !! I love soup, but not the hassle of standing over a hot stove stirring a pan, keeping a watch on the time, and generating extra washing up with stick blenders etc. Since buying the pretty green Justme 6 months ago, I've used it constantly. It makes just enough soup to fill my (large) soup mug once. I rarely bother with a recipe: some veggies (sometimes I'm daring and add something like left-over ham or chicken!), a stock cube, and water - and off it goes. Leek and potato; broccoli and stilton; pea and ham; celery; cream of tomato; chicken and veg; spicy lentil; sprouts; chunky mixed veg; whatever's left over and needs using up. Tinned veggies work well in an emergency, too. The tiny Justme seemed expensive, but I'm SO glad I bought it! Ideal for just one person, and thoroughly recommended. Unless I inadvertently blow it up, it will have more than earned its keep, and its place in my kitchen amongst "indispendible items"!

Great little gadget
I’m a buyer in Australia so be warned that this comes from the UK with a British plug. But I had an adapter so it hasn’t been a problem. So far (a month in) I’ve used this nearly every day and it’s a brilliant little gadget. When I’m chopping veggies for dinner an add a few to the pot with garlic, half a teaspoon of powdered stock and some water. Turn it on then 10 or so minutes later the soup is cooked and blended and ready to pour into a cup or thermos for lunch the next day. To clean, just add a drop of detergent and water and turn on the cleaning cycle, then rinse. Very happy with my purchase, now we’ll see how long it lasts…
