Powerful EDC Torch from Nitecore
I purchased this EDC-27 Torch from Nitecore as it's a handy size & very powerful, you get 5 brightness levels as well as a strobe function. It's a very solid feel to the torch as it's made from stainless steel with a black (PVD) titanium coating, also the LED display is very handy to have as you get the run times from each mode at the press of a button, all said I'm very happy with it, every one needs a good pocket torch, from walking the dog to hiking the trails, this covers the lot.

Great torch
Very bright, the flattened shape makes it more convenient to carry. Gets quite hot on full power - but this is a smallish hand torch. If you want to light up 500 metres away for hours you should look at fa bigger devices that aren't going to come near fitting your pocket.

Very good
I think it's a great torch when you need instant bright light. The only thing id want is a moonlight mode but it's designed for brightness. Good form factor and very bright. I keep it by my bedside just incase required - one button for max brightness.

Close to been 5 Stars
Flashlights have become a major piece of kit in recent years and I personally love the things! Been able to illuminate your environment at any given moment makes a lot of sense. I use mine in the morning to get ready for work instead of turning on all the house lights. It might look like I'm been burgled to anyone walking by outside, but my energy bills are considerably lower because of it, so I'll take that! This flashlight is very good and VERY bright and I think it makes for a superb self defence option with its easy access strobe feature, but that's another conversation. I carry this or the OLIGHT Arcfeld Pro and the Arcfeld gets more pocket time because I find it easier to use. NiteCore need to change the UI for this EDC27, while retaining it's form factor. Changing light modes with a half press of the smaller of the two buttons is tricky at best and I think making them harder to press would also eliminate the need for their lockout mode, which involves pressing and holding down the smaller button, which is just not intuitive. I would also love a flat magnetic base to enable it to stick to metals, while tail standing it in the middle of a room to light up an indoor space from one set point. If they could fine tweek these issues, while retaining the incredible battery life, brilliant screen display, superb pocket-ability, insane 3000 lumin brightness and almost perfect form factor, we would have ourselves the EDC flashlight for the masses. I do not regret buying mine, but I'm excited for the 2nd generation and I would suggest checking out a review on YouTube before purchasing. It's a brilliant piece of kit though.

Better than I thought
I always carry at least 3 torches on me. Including a keychain olight. This bit of kit is phenomenal for its size and so easy to set up a use. The 3000 lumen turbo mode is mind blowing and the display tells you battery life power level etc. it is clipped to my right pocket inside and has currently replaced my previous edc torch. Well worth the money.

Awesome light
Very powerful for its size, very well made with quality components. Would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a small very bright light.

Best Torch
Have about 30 Torches. Yes, I know just can't help it. Have 4 massive Security Dragon lights and many more. This is a flood light in your pocket.

Avoid
I bought one of these for xmas and now in early April when it's charged up using the correct lead that it came with the unit doesn't hold charge. The following day when I go to use it the battery display shows an empty charge. I thought maybe I accidentally might have turned it on in my pocket so it was left on the countertop for 24 hours to see if it happened again. It did so I presume its a faulty unit. I don't think I can return it at this stage so it's just an expensive paperweight. Disappointed by this as I thought these were a good brand name light. Obviously I was wrong. Avoid at all cost.
