I purchased two of these Air Purifiers in April of last year (currently February, ~10 months later) and am extremely pleased with the results and effectiveness of the product. I live in Brooklyn, NY in a railroad style apartment (one side facing street near-ish a busy road, the other side facing an interior courtyard) and I purchased two 311i Maxs. One is in the the threshold between the kitchen/living area and bedroom area and the other is in the main "bedroom" that faces the street. The threshold between rooms is high traffic, so lots of dust and particulates get swept around when I walked between the rooms of the apartment. Immediately I noticed that the dust accumulation in the living and bedroom area became much more gradual. The purifier itself also traps a TON of dust clumps on the cloth outer filter that needs to be cleaned periodically but I am happy to know that it is certainly doing its job. The bedroom purifier also is doing well, but its a much lower traffic area of the apartment so it doenst need to be cleaned as often. The advertised filter live is 6 months. However, after 10 months the high traffic air purifier's filter is just about at 15% and I purchased a replacement. For context, I run it constantly at its lowest setting and have it automatically adjust to a medium high setting for two hours each evening from 5-7pm (this is usually when I am cooking and honestly, not even sure if this is necessary). I am extremely impressed with the durability of the filters in this capacity. Noise wise, I couldn't be happier. They certainly have gotten marginally louder over time (likely due to filter age) but really not bad at all. My (aging) refrigerator's cool cycle is louder than these things. I'm an audio engineer so I use my ears for a living and am particularly sensitive especially when I am working or trying to go to sleep. Not only is the purifier's noise imperceptible from more than 10 or so feet away, but I have on running all day in my studio where I work and I don't have to turn it off except to record exceptionally quiet sources. To be fair, this is all on the lowest setting. The higher settings are certainly noticeable, but about the same volume as my Mideas air conditioner. The app also works great. When there was renovations happening in the apartment below mine, I was able to periodically check in on the particulate levels while I was out for work and adjust the purifiers intensity as needed to make sure no unwanted drywall or wood dust settled in my apartment. The indicators on the units are helpful as well to see the air quality change when cooking or lighting...erm "incense" and know that the purifiers are doing their job and keeping the house clean and odor free. You can have the filters auto-set depending on particulate levels but honestly, they work so fast at the lowest setting I rarely find myself manually upping the intensity of the fan unless there is a serious cooking/smoke mishap or something similar. You're probably better off just keeping them on low 90% of the time. Recommend these to folks all the time as I do to you, dear reader.

I purchased this air purifier to supplement a larger Blueair unit (211i MAX) have for cleaning the majority of our 1171 sq ft condo. This purifier sits in the main hallway to cover areas the larger Blueair unit does not. The setup was fast out of the box. Wi-Fi is enabled, so it was just a case of adding it to my BlueAir app on my phone and connecting it to my home network. The device provides detailed air quality readings on the app and can be programmed for on/off schedules, display brightness and air filter life; the latter is important to know when deciding to reorder new filters. Maintenance is quite easy: each month, I vacuum the outer pre-filter and open the unit (turn power off) to vacuum the filter chamber. The app will advise if the pre-filter needs cleaning. There is a geofence option [called 'Welcome Home', to turn the purifier off if you are away at least 3 km and turn it on within the radius. The unit is well-made and does the job and why I purchased a second unit.

I’m really impressed with this air purifier. The design is modern and compact, so it fits perfectly in my bedroom without taking up much space. After using it for a few days, I noticed the air feels much cleaner and fresher, especially at night. One thing I love is how quiet it is. Even on higher settings it doesn’t disturb my sleep, which is very important for me. The controls are easy to use and the build quality feels solid and well made. If you’re looking for a reliable air purifier for your room, I definitely recommend this one. It’s efficient, stylish, and does exactly what it promises.

Great machine. You pay for the quality but it's quality you get. I use it in my bedroom for allergy season. On night mode, it is impossible to hear. On level one, you can barely hear it. I keep it on level one. Automatic works well - the speed increased when I had a smoky air fry. The design is nice, and well thought out. The fabric prefilter is super easy to remove and wash. The Bluetooth connection works well and it's nice to see the current and history of how clean the air is. There are no cons here. Great unit.

I live in an old New Orleans shotgun home where we have huge oak trees. Between the old house, having to use Merv 8 filters for the house to pull air. These are great! So great I bought a second one for my living room after a week! I have one in my living room with my cat and my bedroom. Pros: so far Ive had much better sleep! The system measures air pollution and will tell you if you have an issue. For me the heater puts off some pollution that bothers me. Also my cat has allergies so this was a no brainer did that and an open floor plan in the living room/dining room. My bedroom one is mostly for sleep. Rest of day it’s set to auto to control. These are great for energy saving as well. If you want to use auto it will only ramp up when it detects issues. Vaping sets it off, blow up of your HVAC can, outdoor allergens and dandruff. Great to catch all that stuff and makes the room feel easy to breath. Noise is not bad and even when hearing it sounds like a nice sleep app. That’s another reason I leave mine on 2-3 when sleeping! So far no cons so far…I’d only say if you vape they are sensitive to that in a bedroom or smaller room. It may change your habits for the better with that. Bigger living rooms it won’t set off as much. To avoid the ramp ups you can take it off auto and run it at 1 or 2. Otherwise auto will ramp to 3 if it detects anything sprayed into the air. Also could turn off and let any spray settle, then turn back on.
