The product is not useful for American use
It is an awful product. The company is not helpful with their return policy. The kettle takes along time to heat. The heating element does not shut off. The plug needs an adapter for American use. The ceramic gets to hot to touch. I do not recommend the purchase of this kettle, you will be disappointed

The kettle takes way too long to warm up
Automatic shut off does not work. The kettle is very small and takes about 15 to 20 mins to start boiling. Terrible tea pot.
