DREO 42 Inch Smart Tower Fan, 20dB Quiet Cooling Fan for Bedroom, 12 Speeds Standing Fan with Remote, 28ft/s Velocity Alexa Fan, 120° Oscillating Electric Fan, APP Control, 4 Modes,12H Timer

Super impressed with just how good this fan is.Firstly setting up the fan was super easy. Remove the large red screw piece, slot the 2 base pieces together and reattach with the large red screw. The power wire is about 3ft so an extension lead may be required.Secondly the style and general look of the fan is perfect for me, as you can see in the pictures it goes great with my flooring and just generally looks much better than all the fans I’ve had before. The dial on the front isn’t super bright but it’s bright enough to see in sunlight. The back of the fan can be completely removed by just one screw so I’m happy I can fully clean the blades at some point down the line. The power of the fan is superb, especially because you have 12 levels which means you can go from an extremely quiet and low breeze at level 1 to a strong gust at level 12. My old fan had 5 levels and honestly was louder at level 1 than this fan is at level 6. It’s super quiet which is really good for falling asleep to and the sleep mode works well. For me the natural mode just doesn’t get used and I don’t see the point in it, but all fans have it as an option. I’m really impressed with the auto mode as it will actually analyse the temperature of your room and change the fan speed based on that. That’s worth paying the extra money for sure. How accurate the temperature readings are is hard to measure but from my use it does seem to work really well. Could be extremely accurate or maybe a degree or 2 off but certainly close enough to make auto mode a fantastic option. The remote is ok and does have all the buttons you would need but if you sit far away from the fan then it might be a case of full on pointing and clicking a few times to get a response. For me I use either the app or Alexa to control the fan so this isn’t an issue whatsoever. The app is fantastic looking and shows a perfect image of the fan, allows you to change the name and change all settings. This is especially good for changing the oscillation levels from 30,60,90,120. I don’t believe you can do this with the remote. I haven’t seen any other fan offer a 120 degree oscillation so that’s really good to have. The touch buttons on the top work brilliantly, however I don’t see myself using those much as I have the app. Alexa was the simplest setup ever. Once you’ve got the Dreo app just click on the Alexa button and it automatically loads the Alexa app and links it for you. Really happy with the no fuss setup. Overall an expensive fan compared to other brands and even most other Dreo models but you get what you pay for. This is the top of the line fan that looks better than other fans, has more levels, more oscillations, more settings and is more powerful. Simply the best. Highly recommend.

The Dreo 42 Inch Pilot Max Smart Fan is excellent! It’s powerful but surprisingly quiet, with a wide range of settings to suit any need. The smart features and remote make it really convenient, and it cools the room quickly without taking up much space. Stylish, efficient, and worth every penny!

Wasn’t sure to start with about the hype over these fans. After being near one in a friends house I decided to take the plunge myself with a slightly different model. I own an array of fans from Dyson, Honeywell, Morphy Richards and I can honestly say this is the most powerful I have bought and at a price point that puts the others to shame. The auto dimming screen, the variable oscillation and the 12 speed settings make this perfect for a lounge or bedroom. It can easily be moved between rooms and feels (although a little plasticky) sturdy. The remote is easy to use and due to the volume of air moved even on a hot day it does make a notable difference to how warm you feel. Would highly recommend to anyone looking.

Works fantastic. Honestly outstanding. Very quiet. Amazing airflow, good size, easy to use. Great functions. Great oscillation. The only downside feels a bit fragile. But if you don’t have to worry about someone will knock it down, then its 100% for you.

This is a great fan. It cools the room fast. It has been very helpful during the current heatwave. The noise is not bad. Other brands sound like jet engines. This one stays calm. The touch controls are simple. You tap. It listens. It connects to your wifi without fuss. Add the skill to Alexa and you can control it with your voice. It feels fancy when you tell a fan to behave. The swing range is good. It covers the room well. The throw range is strong. You feel the breeze from a distance. It does not come with a remote. You rely on the touch panel or the app. It is not a deal breaker.ProsNot that noisy.Great during heatwaves.Simple touch controls.Connects to wifi.Works with Alexa voice control.Good horizontal swing.Strong throw range.ConsNo remote.Noisy at the highest speed.VerdictGreat fan for hot days and smart homes. I would recommend it if you want cooling with voice control and a wide sweep.

There must be something very wrong with me or I just somehow love DREO fans I can tell you I love the DREO fans. I have 3 of them one for my daughters room, one for my bedroom and now I’ve just bought and got this Pilot Max S DREO fan for the living room and I am just super happy about all of these fans. This company knows how to make fans they really do and at an affordable price if ever you was considering getting a fan DREO is the fan for you to keep you cool. ATM as you see from this picture it’s on 8 and it’s quiet of course the fan will make noise but it’s not like unbearable and no need to turn the tv too loud so that’s a plus however in my picture it shows the tv is off. Airflow is just brilliant. I know that the fans for sleep quality works the size is perfect easy to use and easy to put together. Effectiveness is out of this world.Perfect!!!

Taller than I expected, but fits the room well. Very efficient lots of settings to choose from, and the remote / phone app is great. Really pleased, the dog loves it too.

I have never seen a so quiet fan before.
