Strong, Easy to Shape, and Ideal for Repairs
I've used various liquid metal and epoxy repair products over the years, but this SteelStik is one of the easiest to work with. Being a putty rather than a liquid, it's much simpler to mould, shape, and press into place, especially when repairing awkward shapes or filling gaps. Once mixed, it has a good working time and can be formed exactly where it's needed without running or dripping. After curing, it becomes extremely hard and feels very strong and durable. I've used it for automotive repairs and general workshop jobs where a strong metal-like repair was needed, and it's performed very well. It's particularly useful when you need to rebuild small areas, fill damaged sections, or make repairs that would be difficult with traditional liquid metal products. Overall, a versatile and very strong epoxy putty that's easier to use than liquid alternatives while still providing an excellent repair. Highly recommended

Not sure of the bond
Does what it says on the tin, very strong in itself but it's ability to bond to metal is questionable. It stayed attached for 2-3 months and then fell off.

Brilliant metal putty.
Brilliant stuff for fixing metal items. Ironing board 'foot was coming adrift where it had rusted joining the leg. This stuff set in minutes and is still going strong after 6 years. But, it goes off after a few years, so bought some more to fix my rusty dustbin lid. Lid had holes and was getting bad. This stuff filled in the holes, I painted it and it looks like new. I wish I had known about this putty years ago: I could have mended all sorts of items! Warning: DON'T do as the photos show, and use bare hands. Wear disposable gloves. The instructions are to wear gloves, so please do. It sticks like mad and has toxic warnings. Yes, I definitely recommend it.

Gets you out of trouble for a while.
For anyone familiar with 2 part epoxy putty, the principle is no different here, the application and end results are similar, however this is alleged to have steel re-enforcement. It certainly done the job for sealing crack in a weld joint, just after the catalectic converter on my Honda Jazz .. The temps on my exhaust probably do exceed that of the putty ( I think maybe 300-400 degrees Celsius. However despite this, after 60 miles the putty has held up. It is easy to work with and goes like a malleable play do texture and hardens to rock within around 10 minutes, Just make sure to prepare surfaces well by brushing with wire brush or wool. mix According to my research this does the job on most exhausts after the catalytic converter and can last for up to two years depending on use and conditions. It is not recommended to apply before the cat, as that will be too hot .

Deffo reccomend
J weld products are very good, would not hesitate to buy again, sometimes seen cheaper but Amazon quick service wins the convenience award. There are a lot of JWeld adhesives check the details and buy the right one.

Should be in every toolbox
Fantastic product! For the price it’s worth keeping one in a car or work vehicle for any issues you might come across. Has a strong odour when you mix it together but nothing too extreme. Also found it struggles to stick if the surface isn’t completely dry but that’s to be expected from a product like this

Worth very penny/cent
We had a radiator leak from top and when we took it off the wall, we saw it was leaking from bottom. received this and applied to the top and botom and works absolutely well. and it heats the same level. This product can easily be used for products reaching as high as 150 degree heat. Very impressive loved it.

Super

Sealed a small leak on my petrol tank
Well written instructions that is easy to follow. Easy to apply. After about 6 weeks, I do not detect any evidence of any more leaks. Looks like it has worked well.

Really easy to use and very strong when cured. Saved me from a costly repair!
Was skeptical about this stuff but WOW it really works. I managed to get a nasty cut in one of my tire stems from having to saw off a stuck metal cap which caused it to start leaking air and made it impossible to fill the tire. Decided to order this stuff on a whim in an attempt to save on a costly repair or replacement and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I shoved a little piece into the gash and let it cure for a day and my problem is completely fixed! Tire has stopped leaking air and fills normally now and the patch feels totally solid, amazing product for real.
