Fantastic curry, tastes just like Chinese chip shop curry.

Got these as my Mum used to make Maykway curries on a Monday with the leftover chicken / beef from a Sunday dinner and thought I'd continue the tradition. It's really simple to cook with, just don't add it with loads of stuff in the pan (add it early, per the instructions) otherwise it's too lumpy to stir through and get the right consistency. It tastes great, the pack is good value for money and the quality is good. It's gluten free too so I can make it for the wider family.

I love this! Proper chip shop curry. I can only find this in Asda in the north east and it is much cheaper. However, I know live in the south west and traveling to get curry powder isn’t economical, so I buy it from this site. Well packaged and no complaintsFollow the instructions,Whack some onions, mushrooms together add the measured curry powder, fry for 90 seconds and add the water ( I cook the chicken separate and add once the curry is simmering)Add some frozen peas, serve with rice. Whether it's mild, hot or Malaysian, Makway curry powder is an essential ingredient. I often put a couple of teaspoons into a tomato based chilli to make it more tasty.
