Helpful little air cleaner
So far so good. Not noisy like in some comments I read, yes you can hear the air blowing when you have it on high but we're not in space... You will hear the wind blow! I have it in my craft room an it makes the room comfortable an even helps cool it down when it's hot I've found. Easy to put together with the filter. It's pretty big though, not surprised given the dimensions it was as expected but still, different to see it in person an take sup counter space but it's all good for clean air. Price is ok for what you're buying. Hoping I can get a replacement filter when they're on offer by the time it's needed but should be a good while yet

Great product and is efficient at keeping the air fresher especially in winter
Works great with the app . Does what it should and the air feels fresher . This is my second purifier from Phillips . If I wanted to be picky I would say the best is annoying when it comes on but other than that it’s great. Especially being able to control from my phone . It tells you when filter needs changing . What percentage is left before cleaning filter and also the air quality .

Quite big and noisy on high, but capable and works well
We had a wood burner fitted a year ago and I've been a little concerned about the air quality in our lounge as it's been running for many hours a day for the last four months. I decided to buy an air purifier and having researched lots of models opted for this Philips version, one reason being it's low power consumption (12Watt). I was surprised at how big it is, I think I had expected something the size of a small fan but I'd say it is close to the size of a 15l bucket. Whilst it's not particularly heavy, it has no carry handle so would not be ideal for carting around from room to room. In our case I found a place behind one of the chairs, so it's tucked out of the way unobtrusively. The main on/off button is positioned rather awkwardly at the bottom of the rear of the fan, but fortunately once turned on it can be controlled via the app, which is a simple download and provides both an on/off function and speed change options. Three speeds are available, which are called "Sleep", "Medium" and "Turbo" but are more like "Quiet", "Moderate" and "Really Quite Loud". On the turbo setting it's noisy, like a desk fan on level five, but clears a lot of air, fully filtering the air in our medium sized lounge in around 15 minutes. In reality, I leave it running all day on "Sleep" mode, increasing to "Medium" if, on loading the wood burner, a bit of smoke escapes. And once in a while using "Turbo" if we've let in a lot of smoke or ash. The app also shows the state of the two filters, one washable, the other which has to be replaced. The latter should last a year and it costs around £30 for a new one. Overall I'm quite impressed by this, at £70 I think it was great value. And I was able to register online via the Philips web site to extend the warranty to three years.

Silent, simple, and just works
I recently set up this Philips Air Purifier 600 Series and have been thoroughly impressed. The initial configuration required registering for an account and use of the companion Android app, but I have not needed to use it since. After setting up the unit, I configured it to run in Sleep mode from 10am to 11pm, covering the hours when the living room is typically occupied. I also purchased an additional Philips filter, ensuring I am prepared for approximately two years without any maintenance concerns. The purifier operates silently from its corner position, with no disruptive lights, simply performing its function. It is precisely what I was looking for. Five stars, no hesitation.

Efficient
I’m really happy with this Philips air purifier. It is compact, easy to use, and helps the air feel fresher at home. It runs quietly, so it is not annoying in the background, and the design looks nice too. I would definitely recommend it.

Looks nice, is a basic air purifier - but has an annoying motor sound.
Emits a kind of irritating OOOOOOOO noise, even on medium. It comes from inside the device, so it's the noise of the motor. It has three modes - Turbo, which is understandably like a jet taking off. Medium, which has audible airflow and you can hear the motor hum. And a kind of 'night' mode where it's fairly quiet but running slowly. I'll be returning it, that ooooo motor sound is unbearable.

Quiet, simple to use, and easy to maintain
The Philips Air Purifier 600 Series was very easy to set up. Connecting it to Wi-Fi and pairing it with the app was quick and straightforward. You don’t actually need to use the app or connect it to Wi-Fi for the purifier to work, but it’s definitely useful for keeping track of filter cleaning and replacement reminders. It has 3 speed settings: Low – extremely quiet, barely noticeable even at night Medium – a gentle fan hum is audible during the day but not annoying High – definitely audible but still perfectly bearable This model doesn’t provide real-time air quality readings on the unit itself, but the app does show air quality information for your local area, which can be useful. The app will notify you when the filter needs cleaning with a vacuum cleaner and also when it’s time for a replacement filter. Maintenance is simple because you only need to remove the bottom section of the unit to access the filter. A button on the top of the purifier allows you to cycle through the 3 speed settings manually or you can control the speeds through the app. The unit itself is fairly large, but not excessively so, and it seems to be doing a good job. When the app notifies you to clean the filter, there is visibly dust collected on it, so it’s clearly pulling particles from the air effectively. Overall, a simple, quiet, and easy-to-maintain air purifier that does exactly what it should.

Semi effective but noisy
I’m not sure if this works or not. What I am sure of is that it is very noisy if used on the top or middle setting. The sleep setting is quiet enough and didn’t disturb my sleep. I don’t know why, I guess it’s common sense - but I hadn’t realised it would chuck out so much cold air either. It’s like having a fan on all year round. I bought it as I always woke up with a blocked nose due to pollen, I think it’s now slightly better but definitely not gone.
