A very useful book
Nobu's cuisine is rather special - this is not Japanese and not European but a fusion so fans of fine Japanese eating will not find much in it. But those who love to cook will certainly discover a lot of very useful tips. I have learned a lot and am using the book often and the family is happy.

FAMOUS MISO BLACK COD
Amazing cookbook to have. Bought this as a gift for the hubby who loves cooking and is new to Japanese food. Chef Nobu is well known for his amazing dishes especially the Miso Black Cod.

A goldmine!
Definitely a must have for any serious cooks. A goldmine of indispensable sauce recipes! My go-to book for most seafood dishes!

Good recipes, difficult to find some of the ingredients
the book is as expected very well illustrated and lovey quality. The recipes are quite difficult, as expected. But the ingredients are very hard to come by.

Great shots ... daring recipes ... little to try
In the past year I did manage to buy quite a few cooking books. This one was one of the very first. The book making is fantastic: beatiful pictures of the plates and ingredients. Great details about the cook (in line with this new trend of life used to explain the why's of the recipes). Gorgeous recipes ... but ... ingredients are very difficult to find where I live. More so for the most interesting recipes. As ingredients are fundamental to this book, this results in frustation. I have so far not tried a single recipe in almost 6 months. I bought the book as a memory of Nobu in London where I had one of the most memorable dinners. The recipes seems faithful, so they should be also memorable.Before buying, check if you can find the ingredients. If so, but it immediatly ... otherwise, look elsewhere.

Good book.
Good book has some great recipes in it if you don't mind putting in the effort to create some of the dishes.

Japanese cooking
Wonderful book ,& well written.Easy to follow with good photographs.It was packaged well,& arrived promptly.I would recommend it to anyone interested in Japanese cooking.
