Fun times
We've had fun going through these! It's a great way to get to know each other as well as providing head scratching questions. Some of the questions seemed pointless or obvious though, not all of them were enlightening or conundrums.

Mildew infested
Ordered a 'very good' edition of this book, but when I received it, it was not in a usable condition at all. The front cover was covered in mildew spores, some of the text from the cover had eroded and the book was in a very sorry state. The inside was fine but that makes up for nothing. Disgusting.

Lots of hype - very little content
I know that this is the 'little' book of thunks, but I had heard a lot about this book and was somewhat disappointed with how few real ideas there were. There are 260 thunks but I found them to be a bit repetitive, and as a French teacher I wasn't sure about how relevant any of them would be to my subject. In my experience, the kids themselves can come up with more creative questions, so maybe I will give them a couple of the best examples and ask them to work out their own instead.

Great introduction to those interested in philosophy for younger children and thinks for more experienced in this field too.
An easy book to use for those teachers wanting to open up their classrooms to real thinking and not just following what is laid down in texts, etc.I would have preferred more examples of using the Thunks in practice to show how it actually works with students of different ages. This book would be useful to any teacher of students of any age who wants to free themselves. From the daily grind and actually experience children and young people sharing their thoughts and insights. Indeed it us a must read for anyone willing ton become a true facilitator of learning.

Gets better
This is very waffly at the beginning, and I almost gave up on it. But when it gets down to (its own) nitty-gritty, it does become mildly thought-provoking, even if some of it is, faintly, puerile. Think about the things it challenges you with, and forget the rest.

Brilliant for teachers/tutor groups
Amazing book, brilliant for teachers needing to fill 15 minutes of tutor time, give each table one of these to talk about, no right or wrong answers just good debates on topical subjects. Thoroughly recommend!
