Q: How do you use basket as a car seat. Does it have a mechanism to strap the basket to the seat belt?

No I have not found one. I have also not used as a carrier. I added the MightyPaw restraint inside the basket as a safety feature for cat when I’m out running but I’ve not used solely in a car seat. Such a fabulous stroller overall! I love it!!

Q: Can I collapse the whole thing and put it in the trunk of the car or do I need to take the basket out first before I can collapse the stroller?

Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Depends on trunk size. You'll need at least 24 inches of clearance if you collapse the stroller but not the basket. You could collapse the basket if need be to reduce the needed clearance.

Q: Do you feel like it has good shock absorption? Like when you go over bumps does it bounce hard?

I'd say somewhat. I bought this stroller because the tires are big, and they do help with shock absorption, at least they do better than a cheaper stroller with little tiny wheels. We regularly take the cats "off-roading" in this and they don't complain, so it must be a decent ride!

Q: How is the dog secured inside the pet stroller? The zippless can be fully closed so that small pets would not escape?
