Takes time to assemble but it’s worth it.
After reading other reviews I decided to time my assembly of this piece. I’m a pretty handy gal and have put stuff like this together before — it took me 2 hours for the cabinet and another 45 minutes for the drawer. So all together with set-up and clean-up you need to allow at least 3 hours. The good news is the finished product is very sturdy and attractive. There are some very heavy solid wood parts mixed with particle board but overall the quality is good and the parts all fit together well. I would definitely purchase again and think it was a good value for the price. The instructions are excellent…just read them carefully and pay attention to the illustrations…they help a lot. There are also on line videos you can scan if you get stuck on a particular step…I used one to disassemble the drawer slide and it answered all my questions. Good luck!

Nice product but slightly damaged
Love the cabinet but it was slightly damaged in shipping. The corner of the top surface was smashed in a bit. Had to fill it with glue to hide the fact that it was damaged. Overall looks great.

Beautiful Filing Cabinet!!
I wanted a place to organize files that didn’t look like an eye sore. This is SO cute! It was easy for just myself to put it together, turned out great. Has excellent capacity and works well. It is a very high quality piece. (Make sure to note the dimensions before you buy it, so it will work in your space.)

Very nice piece of furniture, but the instructions need to be a LOT better
I like the unit a lot. It's very heavy (90lbs) and has a solid feel to it. The color and the finish work very well in my office. My biggest gripe pertains to the instructions as it pertains to assembling and mounting the drawer. Not clear at all. By the time I got the the point where I could install the drawer, I came to the realization that I had installed some of the guides incorrectly (even though I literally followed the instructions to a T), and the only way to fix the issue would have been to do an almost complete disassembly and start over - which I chose not to do. Fortunately, I don't really need the drawer, so I'm okay with not having it, but I think that the instructions definitely need some help.
