There are some really good egg poachers, if you were raised 60s to 80s your family might have had the Sunbeam or Oster egg cooker -which worked great. There are new similar ones, but they dont seem to have the robust build quality that might last decades like those 2. Those cookers also take up cabinet space, these cups take no space, you can use a variety of pans and work really well. If you use spray the eggs just slide right out. I have a deep wall frying pan, can drop as many as I want and with the lid, 5 minutes perfectly cooked poached eggs. Very handy, because you have choices of your existing pots, and you can save the space. These cups are heavy duty, but are flexible. They are substantial enough, but easy to handle. There are wings, which actually are the genius, because putting in and pulling out of water you have a handle - these are very usable and well considered. By the way, I sent a set to my son, he has been craving our family fave of poached eggs on toast - and successfully introduced his wife to the joy.

Amazing product. line them with olive oil and you have amazing eggs in 5-6 minutes. Washing 8 of the by hand takes less than 2 minutes and let them air dry before restacking. In a hurry, cook 4 of them in the microwave for about 2 minutes and add some shredded cheese the last 15 seconds. Slide them onto toast and you have instant breakfast sandwiches for the road for 4 people. With fast food breakfast sandwiches now over $5.00 each, you can pay for a couple of sets the first time you do this. I like them runny when I use a pot with a lid and boiling water. But the microwave is a great way to go if you are doing breakfast for a bunch of people. They slide out onto a platter and look great in case presentation is your thing. Some people wrote they absorb the taste of dishwasher soap.. THEY ARE A SOFT PRODUCT! Of coarse they will. Wash them by hand, rinse them, dry them or air dry them but make sure they are dry before stacking. It takes no time and this is good food handling practice. I only use these to cook eggs now. Air Fryer is next on the list.

Perfect for eggs benny for a family of 4! Have a different brand without the stable bottoms and hate them. These are easy to use and clean up well! Love the colors too.

HAND WASH ONLY! I put these in the top of my Dishwasher and they soaked in the soap. The eggs I made tasted like soap and I couldn't wash the soap out of the cups. Had to throw them away. They worked fine when Hand Washed.

I recently discovered that I like poached eggs when I had them for breakfast several times on a cruise. I ordered some egg poacher cups and trivet for my Instant Pot and have been cooking them almost daily. It's just a pain to pull out the big IP every day. When I saw these silicone cups, I knew I needed these for the microwave. I looked up directions online and it seemed easy enough. I forgot to pierce the whites the first time and had a major explosion. The next time, I had success. I either spray or add a bit of EVOO into the cup, and then microwave for 30 seconds. It's so much easier and faster than the IP, and I have no patience for the pan method. The silicone cups are sturdy and sized to keep the egg from sloshing out. The eggs taste amazing and the texture is exactly how I like it. I usually cook 2 at a time; however, I'll probably test these in the Instant Pot using all 4 cups.

Pincelas con aceite y cuando el agua empieza a hervir, dejar tapado a fuego medio 6 min. Dejar reposar fuera del agua 1 min mas y sacar con una cuchara. Se limpian genial. Todo un invento. La base es ancha y solo hay q poner agua hasta la mitad, por lo q se mantienen estables
