HOT, DARK & INTENSE
Selena, a mysterious heroine with a heart of gold, picks up Lex, a hitchhiker escaping from prison. Despite their complex and dark personalities, they unexpectedly form a spicy and captivating bond. "Hitched" is an enjoyable but intense read, suitable for those who enjoy dark romance with a warning to check the trigger warning.

Predictable but enjoyable
Felt a bit repetitive but honestly it didn't deter me. I enjoyed it. It's a good read, a bit dark, a bit excessive but in all the right ways!

Good quick read (should be better)
I had high hopes for this book, but I was sadly disappointed. I saw this book on TikTok for dark romance and was excited to read it. I really wanted to like this book however, the storyline was just lacking to me. The book is about a girl driving home through the rain. She pulled over because she cannot see due to the rain, and that is when a man comes knocking on her door, acting for a ride. Her being a good person offers him a ride then is when he pulls out his weapon and holds her captive for a few days. Throughout the days they spend together he finds out that she is married, and her husband abuses her. The hitchhiker escape prison and takes a liking to her, he wants to protect her. Book is spicy however the chemistry for me wasn’t there. I had to force myself to keeping reading it wasn’t a long book (1 days to read).

Definitely a roller coaster ride
Selena driving and stops because it’s raining too hard, and the next thing she knows someone knocking on her window. She ends up offering him a ride. She quickly finds out she made a mistake as he holds a gun to her head. Lex just escaped prison and wants to get to the Mexican border. He will use Selena, and get rid of her, but the attraction and some sort of feelings develop. Will he take her out or keep her? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing Book. Love Selena and Lex and their dynamic and character development. This is an emotional roller coaster ride, nonstop action, and the spice is so good. Check your trigger warnings. This is my first book by this author definitely not my last.

Thrilling & Spice Ride
"Hitched" by Lauren Biel is a captivating addition to the Ride or Die Series, and it left me utterly hooked from start to finish. As my second installment into the world of hitchhiker romances, I can confidently say it did not disappoint."There are two types of people in this world: those who stop for a stranger on the side of the road and those who keep on driving." This sets the tone for a narrative where chance encounters and personal transformation take center stage. The characters, Lex and Selena, bring an intense and fiery dynamic to the story. Lex is the savior Selena refuses to acknowledge she needs, while Selena is the savior Lex believes he doesn't deserve. Their relationship evolves from enemies to lovers, and it's hard not to root for them. You can feel the chemistry between them jump off the pages, making their journey one of redemption and self-discovery.What I found particularly engaging was how they embarked on a daring adventure, confronting their pasts while crafting a new future. Throughout the story, there's an unbreakable connection that binds them, transcending the challenges they face.If you enjoy the enemies-to-lovers trope, an age gap romance with forbidden elements, and the allure of a felon's world, "Hitched" is the book for you. Lauren Biel has undoubtedly crafted a compelling world in her Ride or Die series, of love, danger, and unexpected connections that you won't want to miss.

A Stockholm Syndrome “romance”!
Selena (Rabbit) and Lex (Lexington) these two are an interesting pair. He is an escaped felon and murder. She was raised to be a trophy wife and is being physically abused by her husband. Their chemistry is questionable. Lex makes clear what he wants from her the moment he gets in her car. Selena is too naive. He kills people in front of her, almost sells her body for a fake ID, and is open about wanting to kill her and the only thing she gets mad about is him wanting to continue without her, so that she can be safe from him. Lex is “sweet” in his own way but he is acutely aware of who he is and what he’ll do to her once he snaps. Did they get a HEA in the book? Yes. Will Lex kill eventually her? I would not be surprised. Lex chooses Selena because she is literally the first woman that pulls over for him. Selena chooses Lex because she is so beyond traumatized that she feels safer with a murderer than her family. She has no clue who she is outside of a controlling relationship and that’s exactly what Lex gives her. It’s a spicy book but the spice can get repetitive.

Where do I begin...
Lex... where do I begin. The way that Lauren Biel has created a "loveable lunatic" is beyond words I have to explain. Hitched is dark, earthy, spicy and a great ride. I couldn't stop reading. Almost had me wishing I'd see a hitch hiker as I drive down the road. Its a great read. I definitely recommend.

I know I'm not SUPPOSED to like this... but what had happened was
I was really unsure about starting this after reading some reviews. The first couple chapters honestly didn't help matters either, but I just kept coming back to it. Don't get me wrong, there were absolutely parts I would have loved to smack Lex for however...the spice? I loved it! And also in a twisted way the character growth for Lex and Selena both was written really well.

A dark, unhinged and dirty road-trip!
The author takes us for the ride of our darkest, steamiest fantasies! Both MCs are tortured souls -wouldn’t like them any other way! Lex is an escaped felon apparently serving several life sentences for many gruesome murders amongst other crimes. Selena is a young upper-class housewife hiding the bruises and pain inflicted by her abusive and controlling husband. They cross paths one rainy night while Lex hitchhikes along the road and our naive Selena takes pity on him and picks him up. And just like that their crazy and salacious ride begins. He abducts her on his way south to cross the border, dragging her from one sleazy motel to the next, coaxing her into intimate exchanges. When he finds out about the living hell that is Selena’s marriage he drops his escape plan and steers back to her place to avenge her and thus begins their real journey and passionate relationship.Definitely check out the TW because you’re in for some dark, violent dub non con, dirty ride! This is a new author to me, I’m definitely looking forward to readying more of her books!

if you love the dark
And if you have no triggers, this book is for you. Lauren Biel continually shows her story telling skills by roping us in to characters we shouldn’t love, yet can’t help becoming attached to them. Lex and Selena are no different.I find it hard to put into thought the balance between characters that evolve, when evolving doesn’t necessarily mean growing, and growing when growing doesn’t mean better, yet when it’s all said and done, they have evolved and grown to be better for each other. Not many authors can accomplish that, and even fewer can do it as wonderfully as Ms Biel. This book is fantastic, and if you like your spicy reads on the dark side - give this one a shot!

Such a dark, steamy, brilliant read!
My first book by this author and I really loved it!It's dark, steamy, sinful, forbidden.. and the MMC is legit a madman. (But I love that)I mean, he is seriously one scary dude that does some very questionable things and makes some very.. umm lets say.. disturbing decisions. It really is dark. I would suggest only read this book if you're comfortable with these sort of themes.I will never look a hitchhiker in the same way again. That's for sure!
