Handy gadget for your cast iron pans
I bought these to use on my cast iron pans. They work well, and it is nice to have something that sits on the handle rather than trying to perch a hot pad on there. I do feel at least on my pans, that I need to use both hands to move a pan in and out of the oven. This handle holder is good, but i don't feel confident moving it from stove to oven or vice versa just with this on the handle . There is a little play in the fit, and I don't like to risk moving hot things if I think I might drop it. They do provide good protection for your hand on the stove top, and it is a good indicator to anyone else that comes in the kitchen that the pan is hot.

Did the trick!
Got these to help with a small metal handled pan situation. Bought this cute mini pan on Amazon - "Imusa 6" Egg Pan." I like these little pans. Only thing that I don't care for, is the handles get very hot. Thought the handle holders could help. Slid the cover on the metal handle, felt for the end of the handle, marked it with a Sharpie. Drew a straight line, cut carefully with kitchen scissors, and voila - instant silicone handle covers for mini pan. Plus, you can use the rest of the silicone cover for other things. Maybe more pot holders, if needed. Anyway, it did what I was hoping it would - kept my fingers from burning!

Product sufficiently as described
Not quite as good as the higher quality of same product that I previously had, but they're fine. Were a bit too big for our pan handles but that is specific to the handles you have....

Slips on easily
Sleeve goes over most handles with ease. Stays on but may need to push it back on further occasionally. Good grip for slippery/slick handles. Don’t feel heat unless it is high (over 450). Have not used in oven but have slipped on handle coming from oven. Works great.

Not a quality product (IMHO)
These are very thin and loose fitting. These are copies of the original design which is much thicker and fits better.

AWFUL!!!!
These are absolutely terrible! The heat goes right through them with NO protection! A total joke and waste of money.
