Fun little toy, looks good, feels good, has a lot of functions, but doesn't reach very far away in a city like London, but at the end of the day, at this price is a toy, still a couple of miles in a farly 60-70% house nerigbourhood and a lot of traffic. Very happy with the purchase tho.

The microphone does not work. I've found several people to speak to after programming in frequencies using the chrip software. The signal is very strong. Yet when I try to speak to people they do not hear Me. It's not a Tx or Rx issue. I've tried it with people who have no Rx or tx codes. Literally nobody can hear me. I can hear them perfectly. I assume this is a hardware problem. Very disappointed wasting my Amazon voucher gift on this. Please look at my review and buy yourself something better. One with keys on the front so you don't have to connect to the pc every time to input frequencies. Don't waste your money or gift cards on this junk. If I could give minus 500 stars I would.

The unit received is well packaged. Comes with a nice clear instruction book, that describes the feature set, which is quite wide. However, the menus are very self-explanatory and intuitive in use. They are well laid out and its easy to get around them. They are well-made and robust, so will take a knock or two. Which is what you want with this kind of device. They feel nice and solid in the hand. Rechargable via usb lead provided. With good battery life and range. They come with a build in Ear piece, which is really good in use. A built-in radio and light. A good range of Frequencies and operational modes. Everything for private coms. A good range, and clear signal in general use. I had not issues at all. Did everything claimed. Definately worth getting. I purchased a 2nd and 3rd unit. Recommended. Great price too.

This is a good quality and well-made walkie-talkie for adults. It is ideal for hiking and camping and is also ideal to keep in the car for long journeys in case of incidents or severe weather problems. It has 21 preset channels and works long-range, up to 8 miles in clear terrain. There is a flashlight and SOS emergency call system, in case you get in trouble, and it comes with earpieces, a sling, a charger, and a belt clamp. It can be used in construction, large operational facilities, for personal leisure activities, and even survival, should we ever get invaded by another world ;) Overall, a fantastic piece of work and safety equipment.

Laut Beschreibung ist dieses Gerät PMR fähig. Absolute fehlerhafte Beschreibung. Frequenzen sind im 2m sowie lpd70cm . Gerät hat eine Ausgangsleistung ( gemessen durch stehwelle- 8,7W Power . In der BRD somit nicht zulässig. Jedermann Funk somit fehlerhaft. Geräte gehen postwendend zurück. Somit für den allgemeinen Gebrauch untauglich. Verkäufer sowie Hersteller bitte ich die falschangaben zu beheben!

Das hier angebotene Handfunkgerät hat eine absolut gute Qualität. Sowohl der Empfang als auch die Sendequalität ist hervorragend. Auch bei der Akkulaufzeit gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Das für mich mit Abstand beste Feature an dem Gerät ist die Aufladung über einen USB-C-Anschluss. Während des Aufladens ist problemlos ein Weiterbetrieb des Gerätes (sowohl empfangen als auch senden) möglich. An eine Stromquelle angeschlossen (Netzteil, Powerbank, USB-Zigarettenanzünder-Adapter) ist praktisch ein „Endlosbetrieb“ möglich. Das Gerät lässt sich auf die lizenzfreien Frequenzen von PMR, LPD und Freenet programmieren. Auch die Programmierung auf diverse Amateurfunkfrequenzen ist möglich (z. Bsp. 2 Meter-Band und 80 Zentimeter-Band) Wichtig ist hierbei, dass ein entsprechendes Programmierkabel zum Anschluss des Gerätes an den Laptop / PC bereits vorhanden ist oder mitbestellt wird. Die Programmiersoftware kann man im Internet kostenlos herunterladen (z. Bsp. CHIRP). Sollte das Gerät in dem Programm nicht angeführt werden (wie bei CHIRP), kann als Gerät das „Retevis RB27“ angegeben werden. Dieses Gerät ist weit verbreitet und in nahezu jeder Programmiersoftware enthalten. Dieses Gerät ist baugleich mit dem hiesigen Gerät. Wichtig: Eine Umprogrammierung sollte unbedingt vorgenommen werden, da die auf dem Gerät bei Auslieferung vorprogrammierten Frequenzen absolut willkürlich und nicht wirklich verwendbar sind. Eine Umprogrammierung ist nur über das Datenkabel am Laptop / PC möglich. Eine Umprogrammierung der Frequenzen am Gerät selbst ist N I C H T möglich. Legal ist das Senden mit diesem Gerät nur auf den Amateurfunkfrequenzen mit entsprechender Amateurfunklizenz. Das „Zuhören“ ist auch ohne jedwede Lizenz auf den vom Gerät abgedeckten Amateurfunkbändern (2 Meter + 70 cm) und auf PMR, LPD und Freenet legal. Das Senden auf PMR, LPD und Freenet ist sowohl ohne als auch mit Amateurfunklizenz mit diesem Gerät illegal – aber problemlos möglich. Bitte durch viele andere Kommentare (die das Gegenteil behaupten) nicht verwirren lassen – die Einstellung sämtlicher Frequenzen für PMR (16 Kanäle), LPD (64 Kanäle) und Freenet (8 Kanäle) sowohl zum Empfangen als auch zum Senden ist mit dem Gerät problemlos möglich. Nur nicht am Gerät selbst, sondern nur mit Datenkabel und PC-Software. Von mir bekommt das Gerät 5 von 5 Sternen, da es nach entsprechender sinnvoller Kanalprogrammierung einfach nur Spaß macht und noch dazu recht günstig ist.

Schade, tolles Gerät mit guter Leistung. In der Artikelbeschreibung steht, dass PMR möglich ist... Leider geht das Gerät nur bis 440mhz. Gute Qualität und Leistung, so aber für mich unbrauchbar.

Ich wollte ganz gern meine Funkgerät Sammlung erweitern und habe mir zum testen dieses Funkgerät bestellt. Die Verarbeitung der Materialien sind sehr angenehm. Es macht ein sehr Stabilen Eindruck und fühlt sich wertig an. Der Lautsprecher des Geräts klingt auch deutlich besser als manche andere, da finde ich auch dann das Radio feature sehr sinnvoll. Leider ist die Software die auf dem Funkgerät verwendet wird von anderen Amateurfunkgeräten übernommen worden. Die vorprogrammierten Frequenzen auf dem Funkgerät sind alle verschwunden so bald man das Gerät im Menü zurücksetzt. Nicht sehr schön wenn man keine Möglichkeit hat das Gerät selbst wieder zu Programmieren. Es ist auch eigentlich nicht erlaubt ohne Amateurfunklizenz mit der Hohen Leistung des Geräts zu senden. Durch die schlecht optimierte Software ist auch leider die Bewertung niedrig ausgefallen. Wie oben benannt, wird das Gerät resettet - (Was man natürlich macht wenn ein Gerät nicht das macht was es soll, oder eben spinnt.) sobald im Menü Reset ausgewählt wird. Und damit ist es als Laie unbrauchbar, so Bewerte ich auch meine Rezensionen. Tolles Gerät, tolle Verarbeitung. Jedoch schlechte Software.

Auf der Amazonseite steht 446MHz weswegen ich von einem PMR446 Gerät ausging. Es waren aber leider ganz andere Frequenzen in dem Gerät drin. Aus diesem Grund habe ich es zurück geschickt. Ansonsten ist das Gerät super handlich und macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Sehr schön ist auch die USB-C Buchse um den Akku aufzuladen.
