These did not come with the orange safety cap that the ones I purchase in stores comes with. The first cartridge I used ABSOLUTELY DID NOT LAST for the amount of prints as it should have. I'm on the second cartridge and we'll see how long it lasts. WASTE of money. I won't purchase this product on Amazon again...will purchase from a local store.

No issues at all with these ink cartridges working in my Brother MFC-5890CN printer. Good vivid color prints!

I've been printing mainly with black, but also did about 300 very small (2"x3") photos with lots of sky. We managed 700 copies on the first black cartridge as far as I can tell. Cyan is at 50% and magenta and yellow don't really show as being low yet. The machine has been beeping for the last week warning us black was low, but only today did it quit printing due to lack of ink. The last page it did was as good as the first, so I have to wonder exactly how low that ink was when it quit on us. At any rate: we had no wasted prints from low ink and it was nice enough to tell us it had stopped. Can't say that with the HP at work!

I have no problem using these toner cartridges - I do a LOT of printing and the ink holds out incredibly long. I have a problem with the way they're packaged for mailing. One of those padded envelopes. The boxes inside were crushed - luckily the cartridges appear to be ok, but I won't know until I use them. It would be better to use something a bit stronger for mailing.

I only use Brother Inks. A while ago I bought an off brand. Bad decision, it was cheap but didn't work at all. My printer is like 10-12 years old and works fine, although the quality of the scans has decreased, but are still acceptable. I still use the scans for published reports.

Bought many times. Highly recommend

Good deal for brand name ink that does what it's supposed to.
