Dude. I was changing the batteries on our chicken coop door and some bugs were hitting me in the head. I was swatting at them and didn't think anything of it. The next morning I noticed a friggin bald-faced hornets nest right above the door! They were warning me. Luckily I didn't get LIT UP!! So, I set out to figure out how to get rid of these bad boys. In doing so, I found this thing. It fit perfectly on my pole saw pole and I got it set during the day, with a can of spray, facing the nest. I went out at night to sneak attack them bad boys. My heart was racing and I was ready to make a break for it if they started swarming, but nothing happened. I pulled the string from 30 feet away and didn't hear anything. So, first thing I did wrong, was trying to do this in the pitch black of night. That was stupid. You can't see anything, what am I even doing here. Second thing, was I had the can and this contraption set up horizontally to the poll. So, when I pulled the string, it didn't PULL DOWN on the can's trigger. You need to set it up at an angle so when you pull the string it depresses the can's spray. The next day, I got it set at a better angle and went out at dusk. PERFECT! I emptied the can on the buggers and not a single one made it out of the nest! This thing worked like a charm. I got rid of the nest and didn't get stung. And, I kept a good distance from the poison. Great product!!

Finally I don’t need a ladder to spray Yellowjackets. I am using an ordinary stick with this. It fits any cans. Easily adjustable. I am thinking about painting my gutters with this.

Works as described. No issue using this to paint the top of a gazebo. Update: Reduced to 3 stars. The lever that press the spray can is hit or miss when activated. It has the tendency to roll off the side of the spray nozzle. Doable, but can be frustrating.

It really works. Super easy to use and now I can spray pruning sealant and wasp killer.

I was able to treat bees high up on an apartment building with ease. I attached both my spray can and my bulb duster!

I'm not sure if it was during the initial shipping, or some third party mishandling the package, but when I received it, the box was FUBAR. The spray mechanism itself was in tact, the cord was completely tangled, but the reason for the one star is because the black strap that is supposed to hold the can in place was snapped in 2 pieces, making it completely useless. The only saving grace is that I used to work as an electrician to I have some material I used to jerry rig it and make it work. At first i tried with just a zip-tie, but the can kept slipping when I tried to use the string to depress the arm to make the can spray, so of course, on to some super 88 tape. The combo of the two worked, but now I'll have to cut tape and zip-ties, then put new ones on, not worth it. I only needed this for a couple of wasp nests around my house, so I'm going to keep it, but will note for other potential buyers, parts of this thing are flimsy.

I just used it this weekend and it worked great. I had to trim my trees for our city brush pickup. It helped seal all the cuts. My neighbor was impressed.

Not very well made. The zip tie / clamp broke in 3 places the first time I tried to tighten it around an aerosol can. I had to attach the can with industrial zip ties. Then, the connector that screws on to the pole cracked as I removed the unit from the pole. I'd recommend finding a better made / more sturdy product.
