Cup is great. Shorts not so much.
Shock doctor cup has saved me multiple times now in my martial arts classes, but I had to get a traditional shock doc jock strap because the shorts don't really hold very tightly. I never wear them anymore. Maybe get a size smaller to make sure to hold the cup better. not sure. Cup has a rubber lining so it stays in place during training and you're not adjusting it all the time. Do yourself a favor and get the jock strap. It's better.

Please go 2 sizes under what you think. Trust me not everyone is a magnum. As for protection….. my lady friend says it hurt a lot. Try at your own risk.
