It reflects, it has bubbles in the middle, it's pretty darn good.
Bought this over the Reflectix because the square footage was closer to what I needed, hence this turned out to be the cheaper option. Not sure what differences there are between the two, but the InfraStop seems durable enough, can be sewn with a sewing machine, and overall is a quality product.

~7 Year Sun Life, Easy to Use, STOPS the Sun
We use this stuff to cut up and make custom-fit motor home window covers. This stuff lasts about 5-7 years before the sun kills it. We're on our third set. If you make a good set the first time, you can use the bad ones as patterns. We found some of the window frames don't hold the foil well. Forget tape, sticky pads, etc. Those last about a week in the sun. We use extendable-handle windshield bug cleaners with a towel on the seat to prop the foil against the window on the ones that don't behave. We also use the leftovers for our cars' windshields. Rolled up towels hold those in place. It gets dark in the mh when installing the shields. Don't forget to turn off the 12 volt system before storing the machine! One star off because the foil could have been a *little* stiffer. It is the best foil I could find out there in 18 years.

Great product.
Just as advertised. Used it on a sliding glass door facing summer sun. Be advised there are pin holes in this product which let a little light through, but it does insulate quite well. Note: Do use the proper silver tape as advised. Because the product is ridged, it helps to have a large table for cutting as well as measuring tools.

bargain
This is a great value for me, locally it is very expensive. I see no difference between this product and the Refectex that I have used in the past. Arrived wrapped well in plastic with UPS sticker affixed; fast shipping.I would buy again. I use this to insulate my 7x9 hen house; makes a huge difference in their comfort, winter or summer. Plan to use it in my dog's house too. It is so easy to work with, just staple it up in minutes and cut with scissors to shape around things.Never seems to wear out, I've had some for a dozen years and still looks like new. I use cheap fiberglass batting behind it on the north and west walls of hen house for extra warmth ( easily goes to -30+ here with roaring winds) and add no extra heat source other than their own btu output, cozy.update: 12/19/11After applying this to a wall in my hen house I feel the need to update my review. I do not think it is the same as Reflectex, this product is not as thick. The bubble layer is not as thick and the foil surface itself is much thinnner. so much so that my hens began tearing it up at a corner where they could get a hold. They have never tried, or at least, never been successful with the Reflectex. Anyway, I am still satisfied for the cost value and my purpose in the hen house, I will just need to reinforce the exposed edges and hopefully that will do it.

Worked for my needs - Class A RV side wiidows
Let's get this out of the way...this isn't insulation so has minimum R value in that regards. I bought this to use in my RV side windows. Easy to cut to size. Worked great to reflect the sun coming into the side windows while traveling. The outside temperature of where I was traveling in the West during the day was 110 degrees. This helped to cut down on the heat generated by the sun coming in through the windows during the morning and afternoon when the sun would hit the windows directly.

Kept us warm!
This stuff worked great in our RV over the winter I believe we stayed a lot warmer! It was a big roll though and kind of hard to cut to size while inside the rv.

Not glamorous stuff, but it's easy to work with and does what it's supposed to do.

Good stuff!
This is great stuff. I was renovating our spa and thought adding this as a wrap might help reduce costs. I ran it up to 100 degrees three days ago and reset for 80 degrees - and it's still holding at 100. Of course, it's been hot here during the days - but, I think the thermal wrap is going to prove worth the modest cost and effort.
