Better than reviews might lead you to believe.
I've seen most of the reviews of this on youtube, and they might lead you to think that these never stay in tune, and that you constantly break strings. I really didn't want to get a Floyd Rose FRT, so I crossed my fingers and ordered this... as well as Guyker locking tuners, and a Guyker roller bridge. I am happy to say that after the very easy installation of all that, it preforms rather well. Using it as a wiggle stick, it stays in tune very well. Even dive bombs stay in tune reasonably well. I also have yet to break a string, although a close look at the trem shows how you might run into that. The two high strings (B and E) get rather close to the edge of the slot in the trem, and when you wiggle the stick, they might rub against the edge. If said edges aren't rounded enough, you'll eventually break a string. That's why you'll also see reports that filing/sanding the slots can solve the string breaking issue. I don't think mine has this issue, but I can see how it could for some of these things. But if you know where the issue arises, it's a really simple fix anyone should be able to handle. A small file and/or some 600 to 800 grit sand paper and a few minutes to smooth out the slot(s) and you should be fine. I also see where not getting the roller bridge and the locking tuners could lead to tuning stability issues. Just get all three. They're cheap. Much cheaper than a Floyd Rose trem, and far easier to install. Odds are good you won't have problems, and any problems you might have are simple enough to fix. If I had the money, would I get the FR instead? Hell yes! But I can't throw that kind of money around, and Guyker makes it where I don't have to.

EASY INSTALL - WORKS GREAT ON MY EPIPHONE LES PAUL
Works well, comes back in exact position. Bar adjustability is a plus. Installed in minutes. I had to use the Epiphone bridge screws. The supplied screws are an imperial vs. metric mismatch. No holes required. I did not instal the locking nut.

Fits US Gibson
Great addition to my Gibson SG. Works smoothly and stays in tune after mild use. The arm feels stable and stays in place once adjusted to taste. Definitely recommend.

Works well, looks cool, probably a "borrowed" design.
Ordering this device was a bit of an experiment for me. I installed it on a Gibson BFG, a guitar that didn't mean a whole lot to me and had shown a few issues before. Heavy, like all LPs, with a sort of rough playing experience, and not the most resonant instrument. Installation was incredibly easy. I was not able to use the provided screws in my bushings, and I was not going to remove those, so I used the ones that had held my existing tailpiece before. Doesn't look great, because due to their original purpose, these screws stand out quite a bit. But playability is not impacted in any way, so I can live with this solution. Here's the important part: The entire feel of the guitar has been changed. The springy looseness of this vibrato unit makes the strings feel less rigid, and the guitar feels more responsive. The thing looks killer, which I have some misgivings about, because I actually think this is a "borrowed" design. I don't feel too bad for ripping off the original designers of the LesTrem, which is a luxury item, and will be the choice of guitarists who want to add a wiggle stick to their expensive instruments. This thing works well and gives you the same Bigsby-esque wobbliness at a fraction of the price. Tuning issues have not been made any worse by this, but they do exists on most LP style guitars, and this unit does not fix them. How could it? All in all a fun mod at a decent price, super easy installation, which is, importantly, totally reversible. If you use this on a more expensive instrument, you might consider putting some felt under the metal bar before installing it.

It didn’t work out for me. Proceed with caution.
This trem has design flaws that prevent it from working properly. I installed it on a 2013 LTD Explorer EX-50. 1. I have Grover locking tuners on the guitar. I decided not to install the included locking nut. Using a locking nut with this trem won’t work because there’s no individual string tuning mechanism on the trem or bridge. 2. I had a stock bridge on the guitar. When I used the trem, the bridge moved in unison with the trem. I installed a bridge with roller saddles and that solved that problem. 3. Despite having solved the bridge issue, and despite having locking tuners, the guitar wouldn’t be in tune when the trem returned to the resting position. At least three strings at a time were sharp. If I tuned the guitar and played it without using the trem, it stayed in tune. It would go out of tune whether I dive bombed or pulled up. When I dive bombed, I tried pulling the trem arm up to ensure the tailpiece returned to the correct position, but it didn’t help. 4. I tried filling the nut slots with graphite to improve string movement and tuning stability. It helped a little but not enough. 5. The guitar sounded remarkably thinner, less powerful, with the trem installed. This is because the standard tailpiece is much heavier than the trem tailpiece. 6. The length between the trem tailpiece and the tuning peg is different than the length between the standard tailpiece and the tuning peg. I would be EXTREMELY CAREFUL not to make any changes like drilling, nut replacement, or any other dramatic changes, before you can verify the trem works and the guitar stays in tune.

A VIBRATO FOR MY FIREBIRD!
I recently bought a new Epiphone Firebird and wanted to put a vibrato on it. I chose the Guyker based on its design and the relatively low cost. I figured that if it did not work out I would not be out that much money. I also bought the roller bridge as part of the bundled package. Installation was very easy and straightforward. No modifications to the 'Bird were needed, so it is easy to restore the guitar to its original condition. While no instructions were included, installation was pretty much intuitive. I was impressed by the fact they included an extra spring for the vibrato. Once installed, I have found it to be effective for gentle vibrato effects. You can also do limited dive bombs with it, but another type of vibrato might be better suited for those. So far, this has proven to be a very good vibrato. Everything stays in tune and I have yet to break a string! Overall I can recommend this!

So cool!
I love this vibrato! Easy to install and a good price. It fit right on my factory stud holes, easy as it gets. I use it with a roller bridge, locking tuners, and it works amazing. Good tuning stability, feels well made, not cheap and flimsy. I highly recommend!

Honestly surprised
Installed this on a singlecut kit to give it some wiggle and shimmer capability. I had just tried installing a different cheap vibrato that was fatally flawed so wasn't expecting too much from something in a similar price bracket. It works. The feel is amazing actually, buttery smooth, quite impressive. Won't do dive bombs -- I get maybe a 1.5 steps on the G, a half step on the high E, then I wasn't expecting to do that. For subtle vibrato, it's absolutely perfect. Great feel and stays in tune. For bigger bends, it has tuning stability issues, but that's just as likely my guitar (still on a non roller bridge and I never widened the nut slots) as it is the tailpiece itself. Another plus is it's relatively small so doesn't look like a bulky hunk of metal. For an inexpensive guitar, grab one and be happy!

Guyker vs Duesenburg LP tremeloes
Almost as good as the Duesenburg LP trem this unit mimics. I now own and have installed both. The spring on the Guyker is a little more spongee than the Deuce. But, I love the coloration options from Guyker. A good looking unit that does the job nicely.

Great value for money
Very easy to fit. Looks “interesting”. Bought the roller bridge to use with it. Which was also a decent fit. Quality looks ok. Not sure how heavy duty it is, feels quite meaty though. Tuning stability seems ok. It had new strings so need those to settle in to be really sure about that. Functions very well. Don’t expect massive divebombs and wild Vai type whammy bar abuse. I think it might be more Hank Marvin in that respect. Yet to see how the finish holds up obviously. It is still very new. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase.
