Most beautiful chess set I've ever seen. I've got it for my grandson. He's seven. He just learned to play, and now, each time I'm visiting, he's ready to play! THE CHESS SET OBJECT OF THIS REVIEW IS ABSOLUTELY MESMERIZING. I can't think of a better gift for a kid who wants to learn. I have many Indian friends, I've been many times in India, and I know how much those people appreciate culture and decency. Pieces are well made, classic style, and perfectly weighted with felt bottoms. Board is beautiful hardwood and well made. Extra pieces are included and excellent storage drawers on each side of the base of the board. You will not be disappointed.

This was a birthday gift. The person who received it is very happy and loves it. It fits her hands perfectly -we have a bigger set, but while she liked them, it seemed a little too big for her hands. This worked out perfectly.
