Great product. I used it on my Jeep Compass, attached to universal crossbars I got from harbor freight. We went 2000 miles through wind and rain, and nothing got wet. The rack was fairly easy to attach and feels very secure and durable. I can’t speak to the integrity since it’s only been one week but I’m impressed so far. The bag is a nice strong material and has a double closure with zipper and velcro. We used the included straps to hold it down and also added the included net as an extra precaution. It held our tent, chairs, camping pads, and camp table easily with room for more. The rack and bag felt extremely safe and secure the entire trip.

I bought this WEIZE hitch mount cargo carrier basket to add some much-needed storage space for road trips, and it has been an absolute lifesaver. For the price, the amount of accessories included in this kit is genuinely unbeatable. It comes with a heavy-duty waterproof bag, a bungee cargo net, secure tie-down straps, and even a hitch stabilizer to completely eliminate any rattling while driving. What impressed me the most, however, is the ease of install and use. Putting the steel basket together was very straightforward, and it slides right into my 2-inch receiver without any hassle. Loading gear into this basket at waist-height is an absolute breeze compared to struggling to lift heavy coolers or luggage into a roof box, and the waterproof bag keeps everything perfectly dry even in heavy rain. If you need a heavy-duty, 500lb-capacity carrier that comes with everything you need right out of the box, this is a fantastic investment. Highly recommended!

This hitch mount carrier really surprised me. This thing is great. I got it because I was taking my dogs along on the summer road trip vacation, and I don’t like car too carriers, but really needed extra storage so I could fit my bigger dog in the back safely. This was quite easy to assemble, I did it by myself start to finish, a ratcheting wrench is extremely helpful for this. To install it I did get my husband’s help because it made it easier for me to get the holes lined up on the hitch and carrier with him holding it for me. It is sturdy- no shimmy, no wobbling, and no flapping from the cargo bag the whole time. It’s also a very versatile size- we fit two suitcases, pool and beach toys, towels, blankets, food, and more, but we could have made small adjustments to fit more or less without losing stability, especially because it included a high quality waterproof bag and decent tie down straps, and a mesh elastic net (which we didn’t need this time), and It was put to the test on both 10 hour trips to and from vacation this summer: we hit some major storms, and really high temperatures, and when I was folding the bag up after we got home I was really stunned that it still appeared brand new, like it hadn’t been through anything at all in all those miles! I was easily able to open and close the back of my mid-sized SUV with the carrier attached and fully loaded, and my 67lb dog had plenty of room to get in and out for pit stops along the way. Several reviews I read before buying commented on their carrier rusting on their first use, we encountered a lot of rain, and were in Florida for lots of our journey, and when I got back home I did not find ANY rust anywhere at all, but I do plan follow the manufacturer instructions and give it a boost with a new coat of rust resistant truck bed liner paint. My ONLY critique about the entire thing (an MINOR one) is that I do feel like the reflective stickers could be improved. One of mine really resisted staying on for whatever reason, and I’m sure it was something with the sticker because I cleaned all 3 spots with alcohol before putting the stickers on, and the other two went on and stayed on perfectly the whole time. I also think it would have been better to include at least 2 more of them so all 4 corners of the carrier could have a reflector on it. I was glad for the thick band of safety orange around the cargo bag, because it really helped provide more visibility to other drivers than the reflectors did. However, even with this criticism, I still give it 5 stars, because the price, overall look, performance, and sturdiness make it a worthy investment, especially if you travel heavy, or with pets, and run out of trunk space quickly.

Rack goes together pretty easy. The only thing I don't like about it is that the brackets, I think, are strangely made. They don't actually clamp together around the bars of the rack. It is more of a nub that protrudes from the top brackets and tightens against the bottom bracket. I included pics to see. The other strange thing is that when the knobs are tightened down, a good portion the screw protrudes which would make me think the screws would rip the cargo bag. But it seems sturdy. Overall, it seems alright. Edit: Cargo bag. This bag has held up since coming to Minnesota 7 weeks ago and it has been out in the elements this while time. I've been on a travel assignment, jeep camping. We went through 2 blizzards, some pretty good rain episodes, I had it on the top of the jeep for 5 weeks until I got settled into a permanent camp site and this thing stayed on, didn't get wet, didn't rip, and stayed closed. When I went out, I locked it with holes in the zippers. It can store a lot of stuff in it. I am very glad I got this thing. I did take it off the jeep and it's now just chilling on the ground, holding my extra camping stuff I need as the weather changes and so far, everything has stayed dry. I would definitely buy again!

I am completely satisfied and thrilled with how this rack and storage bag worked. It is a very well made and perfectly functional device. Made a long road trip in a 2025 Ford Explorer very comfortable and convenient. Functioned perfectly for the 2025 Explorer and didn't get in the way of anything (lights, gate, license, camera), everything was still completely functional fully packed. Very easy to pack, unpack and secure with the included hardware and straps, which were well designed and a great fit. Easy to assemble, very sturdy and secure, made from plenty tough heavy enough steel, and the bag and straps worked flawlessly, and kept everything completely dry, safe and secure. Made packing and unpacking the rest of the car (a topper too) easier by using it as a work bench and staging stand. Came with instructions, but didn't need them as it was pretty obvious how to assemble and use. I had considered a larger frame, but was very happy with this smaller one for a bunch of duffels and backpacks.

Use this to move from Maine to San Diego, CA. It held up amazingly. No rips, zipper is intact. We went through some pretty heavy rain with no leaking. It was also very easy to install and remove. It also holds a lot of stuff. We put my husbands 3 foot duffle into it, my smaller duffle, two backpacks, and an espresso machine with room to spare. Highly recommend.

Works great!! Holds everything I needed it to hold!! Held a tent, ezup, 2 chairs , a table, 2 duffle bags, air mattress. Load it right it is arrow dynamic with the rack. Very rain proof. We have driven thru some major rain storms the past few days and everything is dry!! Can be a little struggle getting zipped up and may take a few try’s but when your stuffing it you need patience!!! All in all very very satisfied with this product!!!

I installed this rack on my 2021 Rav 4. Here's my takeaway: GOOD: - Great price. Can't beat it. - Looks good - Fairly sturdy. 7.5/10 - Lightweight BAD: - There's a gap in the fore-aft bars when you install the center piece extension. This could easily be remedied for a more finished look and more rigidity. - It's loud. Very loud. At least on my 2021 Toyota RAV4. I'll only have this on when I need it, for this reason. Maybe it's quieter on other rigs. It seems to be more noisy empty and quieter with the luggage bag strapped down. - No lock washers or threadlock. If you're planning on removing this from time to time, ie only using it occasionally, go to any hardware store with one of the screws (for size referance) and buy a handful of lock washers. These a donut shaped, flat pieces of metal that are slightly offset (they look bent). This is so when you crank down on your screws or nuts, this washer will compress and help keep your screw or nut from back out on the freeway. Total cost is maybe 75 cents. If you're planning on leaving this on permanently, also buy some thread lock. This is a small red or blue tube at any auto parts or hardware store. Put a couple small drops on your screw or any threads. Use with your lock washers and these things will never come loose. Why this isn't included, I have no idea. CONCLUSION: If you want the highest end, most durable product, this ain't it. You'll be happy with it, it'll get the job done, but a few small things might bother you. If you're on a budget, don't want to spend a stupid amount of money or don't care much about little things like gaps in the cargo rack, you'll be very satisfied and it's a fantastic deal. All in all, if you expect it for what it is, a very reasonably priced rack AND waterproof bag, you'll be thrilled. BTW I can fit 2 full sized suitcases laying flat (crosswise) or 4 full sized suitcases on their side (crosswise), with the middle extension installed, without the bag.
