Premium Twist Line String Trimmers - AL2470B

This EGO Power+ AL2470B premium twist trimmer line is a solid upgrade from standard string line—definitely worth it if you do a lot of yard work. The twisted design really does make a difference. It cuts cleaner and seems to last longer without constantly breaking or fraying. I noticed I didn’t have to stop nearly as often to reload, which saves a lot of time. The 0.095" thickness is perfect for tougher grass and weeds, and it handles edging along fences and sidewalks really well. It’s also compatible with EGO trimmers, so it fits and feeds smoothly without any issues. You get a generous amount on the spool (around 230 ft), so it lasts a long time even with regular use. It feels durable and more “heavy-duty” compared to cheaper lines I’ve tried. Overall, this is a reliable, high-quality trimmer line that performs exactly how you want—clean cuts, less breakage, and longer life. Definitely a great choice if you want something that holds up and gets the job done efficiently.

Good quality and I have had no issues.

Love it. Came from a thinner line on a toro. The line does hold up better but I do still burn through it pretty quickly. I have a large paver stone patio which is a hotbed for weeds. So I’m tough on the stuff. I did find I can run it at a very low rpm and busts the weeds. The line works just as good as the precut packs.

Does the job.

I purchased this trimmer line for my RYOBI. I found it of good quality, but it seemed to wear down a bit quicker than other brands I’ve previously used. The line fit well into my spool and seemed to load to capacity easy with no issues. I liked the housing the line was packaged in, and the built in cutter was a nice touch. I’d likely buy this line again.

This string line is really, really good.

I purchased this line because I had bought some generic string from Home Depot to use on my EGO string trimmer and had nothing but issues with breakage and loading new string into the auto-feeder. This seems to have fixed those issues and I can use my EGO trimmer now without the constant strain of trying to load new string.

I purchased this for my ego power+ attachment head, I've never had to manually load string before so I did need to watch a video to make sure I was doing it right but within 10 minutes it was reloaded and I was cutting grass again. I believe this was different compared to the string pre-loaded in my head because it seems to be less durable but also way better at cutting at the same time. I tend to eat up a lot of this string as I'm cutting along my aluminum fence but it's a great product and I would likely buy again - but shouldn't need to for the foreseeable future considering how much string is on the line.

It’s rubbish

Non conforme / il filo anche se originale è molto vecchio infatti si sbriciola a contatto con l' erba una bobbina di 3 metri di ricarica su un ego power st 1400e dura una carica di batteria dopo di che devo ricaricarlo.. una delusione per questo prodotto i fili da taglio di altre marche costano meno e durano di piu. Ma ripeto se il filo è stoccato male in magazzino o per assurdo ha preso il sole.. è da buttare come nel mio caso buttate 50 euro per niente fidandomi della marca.. mai piu comprerò un articolo del genere. Ripeto il filo se lo pieghi a mano si sbriciola plastica vecchia e cotta
