You would see if you were buying a blanket at a retail store. Upon removing it from its airtight inner sealed bag, it had a very strong chemical odor to it, and it was very smashed. I placed it in the dryer on high heat for 10 minutes and it really did help to remove the odor and fluff the blanket up. I'm a little confused why this blanket is only for a woman and girls? At least that's what I had for when I read the title of the listing so I guess if you are a man, you cannot have this blanket kind of odd and if I were the seller, I would change that because it definitely will affect search results... I used the blanket on top of my bed as an actual comforter. My bed is a full-size bed. I ordered a queen size blanket, and it covers it nicely. It is probably one of the softest blankets I have ever felt in my life and yes, I would recommend this if you were in the purchase for a nice large, soft, cozy blanket!

This blanket is super soft and lightweight. The queen size fit perfectly on my mattress with enough over the sides to allow for generous coverage. I love this blanket and have the same kind in a couple different sizes. It is well made and holds up to washings. It is lightweight but still keeps you warm. I have not seen any lint from this blanket. I have found that this brand of blanket suits my needs very well! I am pleased with this purchase!

I've purchased FIVE of these blankets. They are on the thinner side, but perfect for those who like to cuddle up with something super soft when it's a bit warmer. I've washed them several times, and there is some difference in texture (I washed in hot and dried all the way on hot. It was needed for the food we spilled on it) and although it did change the texture SLIGHTLY, the blanket held shape, and stayed wonderfully soft. Colors I ordered were exactly as pictured. Love this blanket and will def order another if I need a gift again!

I have several of these blankets in various colors. They are extremely soft and warm, especially in the fall & winter. I have not noticed any lint shedding, and I own about 5 of these. I'm extremely pleased with this brand.
