How waterproof is this swim coat?

The outer is waterproof coating, and even the zipper is waterproof.

I need a swimming jacket, but I'm thin and not tall enough to wear adult. Is it suitable?

If you are the same height or slightly higher than the girl in the picture, it may be the knee-length or above. It is still very loose for you.

Is this swim parka warm to use after swimming lesson?

Yes, it's warm, but also light. My boys like to run around in it.

Is polyester inner lining? Or cotton?

Polyester short fleece lining. Cotton sucks too much water, but isn't quick-dry.
