Easy set up, good quality print
Really like this printer. Very quick and easy to set up (15 mins approx). Print quality is very good. I love the fact that it is refillable and refillable inks are not expensive. Was tired of being ripped off with buying cartridges constantly. Nothing not to like about this printer.

E4 error, Paper jam, feed issues, awful chat support. AVOID!!
On my 2nd printer now, currently dealing with HP support again regarding the same issue. Works perfectly, decent quality prints etc, then suddenly won't work as needed. Constant paper jam errors, which sporadically fix themselves and crop up again and again and again. The paper is not actually "jammed" or stuck, it simply refuses to feed correctly. It either grips the paper so hard that it leaves roller marks and creases the page as soon as paper is dropped into the input tray or it just doesn't do anything at all. I spent 2 hours yesterday trying to print one page, only for it to then fail again. Just before the "paper jam" issues started I have had a few prints begin only to cancel themselves after printing a section of the print, it suddenly stopped printing, fed through the paper and then shows the paper jam error, wasting my paper in the process. There have also been times where blank paper has fed through the printer before and after printing. It's not a reliable printer in my experience. I have mostly been using this printer to print stickers, I have used pretty much the same paper throughout, it is 80gsm which is the same as standard copy paper. HP chat support said to me (and I quote) "Because when you use paper that are not compatible to the printer, at first it appears that everything is normal when the printer is printing fine but by the time the incompatible cartridge will create an error." I presume this means if you use good quality paper, anything above standard thin, cheap copy paper (although the printer has settings for high quality photo paper, brochure paper, gloss and matte etc) it will work at first and then break and that is supposed to be the users fault. So that's something to keep in mind, though as I said, the paper I have been using is 80gsm and is the same as standard paper. Chat support if you need it is awful, you message over whatsapp and a bot asks you questions (sometimes this fails and an error comes up, just type anything and send the message and it will either reset or continue) when you finally connect to a person, replies are often 20mins+ between messages. It took me over an hour for them to begin talking to me yesterday only to then say they were closing and would continue the chat today. The information and the bot states they are open 8am-8pm, the person I spoke to (yesterday and the first time I contacted say they close at 6pm on weekdays.) The first time I contacted them it took 3 days of several hours of back and forth where they sent me youtube videos of the wrong printer, requested I sent them videos of the printer not printing etc. They finally agreed to send me a replacement printer, it took about a week to arrive and they arranged someone to come and collect my old printer so that they could refurbish it. All was well, this was about 2 months ago and now I'm in the exact same situation. My chat yesterday the person I spoke to said he was keeping our chat open and to message today when I was available. I am currently waiting for a reply, it's been 30minutes so far and I have had no acknowledgement that anybody is actually on the other end. The whole thing is very, very frustrating and time consuming, often going round in circles. Other things to note; I like the ink system, I have not had an ecotank printer before but will certainly be getting one again. Easy to insert the ink and have done a lot of prints. You can see the ink levels and only seem to have made the smallest of dents in the Y ink. The printer can tell you the ink levels, but I have never had it actually tell me anything than "unknown" this was the case on both printers. It prints standard quality quickly, best quality can take a while but nothing too awful. It can be very sluggish, especially if it's had any kind of hiccup, it makes a lot of noise and you are left guessing what it's actually doing. If it wasn't for the paper feed issues I would happily use this printer, but my experience. It's a little larger than I expected, but I think that was simply the surprise of using a smarttank/ecotank printer for the first time. I haven't had any issues regarding wifi which is good as my last printer often had issues staying connected and the area where it is can be a little bit of a wifi dead zone on occasion. I'm desperately hoping for a refund or another replacement, I'm still waiting on HP to reply, if I get a replacement I will probably end up selling it to get some of the cost back. I wish I could contact Amazon about it but it says to contact HP on the order regarding issues. I will NOT be using HP again and am researching a replacement. Edited to add, I messaged Amazon even though not stated as eligible for return, within minutes they arranged a collection for it and the offer of a full refund. Amazon to the rescue! Replaced ot with a canon pixma and so, so much better in every regard!

Good but has limitations
A good, everyday printer but with limitations. The initial set up is actually nowhere near as easy as the description would have you believe. Several of the functions are only available through the accompanying "app" that has to be downloaded through your normal apps downloaded. Once activated, the printers software does most of the tedious linking for you, but it doesn't do a great job of this task. I needed to link to my home network manually. Tasks like a simple one sheet A4 copy have you scratching your head, and the phone app is next to useless at helping you on simple tasks: great at trying to help you take a photo of a document for processing, hopeless at doing a normal print copy. For all the unnecessary hassle created by a phone app trying to be too clever, the prints are of pretty good standard. The large ink tanks are also a boon and easy to fill. This is a good home printer but would never work effectively in even the smallest of office environments. I do miss easy double-sided printing and an underside paper tray. The old style of paper top feeder means this printer has to either sit on a desktop or on a shelf with loads of headroom .

Easy to setup and use
Having recently purchased an Epson printer which was faulty and returned I decided to try this HP. Although a little time consuming it was easy to set up and is now in full use scanning and printing to a high quality. Compared to the Epson this was so much more straightforward. Some tips if you decide to buy one: Allocate at least 30 minutes to set up and be patient - some tasks like checking the print heads seem to take longer than expected. Take care when fixing the print heads - its a bit fiddly and you will need to use more force than you would think to lock in place. After you have set it up restart your computer for everything to work successfully. It does work without a restart but is painfully slow. After a restart prints are almost instantaneous. A restart is definitely required after adding the printer to a second computer. Nothing worked until after I did this. (PS this is only on Windows 11)

Good print quality
Print seems a good quality, ink reservoirs easy to fill, the cartridges were a fiddle to install but will only have to be done once. Getting the printer up and running was easy as was connecting it to my i phone, but getting it connected to the desktop took a while longer possibly due to the fact that where technology is concerned I am a numpty! Overall it links a good buy.

Good Printer, Let down by REALLY bad software.
Printer is good and capable, It can give you prints in photo Quality. However.... If you are wanting even simple options like to change the print quality from draft to photo, its a battle in Windows. The software limitations with this are like, as basic as i have ever seen and then some. ie. if you select an image on your phone and select the HP Print option. Super super basic. That said, i like the scans, good quality scans. But Printing in windows or via iPhone, is BASIC. ie Print Colour/BW, Number of prints. pretty much it. Thats its Major let down for me. That said, when it does print, it is capable of some lovely quality. WARNING - when printing High QUALITY on PHOTO LABEL paper the ink WOULD NOT CURE! Two weeks on, two months on, it still smudged on contact. I contacted HP customer service who said that's just the way it is. (I still have the screen shots of their response). A Poor do from a big company. OVERALL, i dont hate the thing, i will keep it, but i certainly wouldnt buy another. Even then its better than Epsom!
