Transcend 512GB MTE300S PCIe 2230 SSD, 2000MB/s for Steam Deck, Surface Pro

I bought the 512Gb version to replace the 64Gb drive in my Steam Deck. Swapping was easy but you’ll need a spudger or guitar pick to pry the back cover off the deck after unscrewing. I went for this drive because it’s 1.5a. I’ve read some people saying the higher amp 1Gb and 2Gb drives run hotter *possibly* shortening the life of the deck.

I had a small enclosure which required a 2230 sized NVMe and this fitted perfectly and just worked.

Got it for the steam deck work perfectly faster then normal 64gb version great but

Very good

It was exactly as adevertised. Unfortunately, my laptop had issues, so I couldn't use it as I wanted.

I tried many PCIe M.2 2230 NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 SSD. I could not load the OS on to it. It kept crashing. I bought Transcend and I could load windows 11 Pro and all surface related driver. It's been more than year it's working without any hiccups.

I installed this M.2 drive into a USB-C external drive enclosure that uses mag-safe with my phone and have been using it for ProRes recording so I don't just fill my phone up in ten minutes of video recording. It installed easily, and after creating partitions, it worked and continues to work flawlessly. This little drive fit perfectly in the enclosure and has been super reliable at high transfer speeds over and over again. It didn't cost an arm and a leg either. Very happy with this drive for video recording!

Bought this for my Steam Deck. Worked like a charm, I've had zero issues.

Fa quello che deve. Installato su steamdeck
