Very effective, usual good quality. Initially purchased to waterproof, and keep supple, a 50 year old leather briefcase: gloves will follow. The Dubbin is slightly "thicker" than the black-coloured Dubbin from a Spanish maker, although low temperature may be the cause. Recommend wearing rubber/surgical gloves whilst applying, as otherwise one's hands become "waterproofed", (not a recommended "barrier cream"), and to avoid spreading Dubbin onto clothing!

Bought this product for my Doc. Martens as the leather started to crack. Put this on and left it on over night. Rubbed of the next day made the leather softer . No cracks and water resistant. Couldn't be any happier. Definitely buy this again. Especially for that price. 2 pounds.

Although the product appeared to be different to the one I ordered - the tin design was different - I rang the company and was assured that the content was exactly the same. The customer advisor was very helpful and efficient and said he had tried many times to get Amazon to change the tin photo but as yet they hadn't. I love it when you can phone up directly (not a mobile) and talk to a knowledgeable person ! thank you .

not that hard to apply and we can see that leather is supple ,i apply the mist with finger than i go for a 30 mile drive in car wearing the boots put heating full power on feet haha it works well
