Exactly what I wanted
I like the PSVR, but I also love cleaning up after usage. Meaning, I don't ever leave my HMU out. So every time I want to play I have to plug in the two cables for the HMU, connect headphones, put on the headset, put on the headphones, and spend a lot of time redjusting both until they feel comfortable. Done playing? Great, now I have to take off the headphones, put them and it's cable away, put away the HMU. It just becomes enough of a hassle that, subconsciously I stopped playing PSVR games as much as I used to. Didn't stop buying new games...but just never took the time to play them. Well these headphones helped change that, and made the effort to break out the PSVR experience just one step easier, and better! After trying my friend's Valve Index HMU, one thing I really liked was the speakers that hang down (off-ear headphones), so I went looking for something I could add to my PSVR and not have to have either 1) Over the ear hadphones (always a small nuisance to get on and off over the HMU) 2) the supplied ear buds as those aren't really sanitary to share with others, and, frankly uncomfortable. First off: These will never sound better than over the ear headphones. They let surrounding sound in. BUT, they still sound better (to me) than ear buds, thanks to their larger sized driver. They can push a lot of volume, and will help you still feel immersive. But if your kids or significant other (or pets) need you for something? They can actually talk to you, and you'll hear them, rather than them suddenly tapping you and scaring you half to death at the sneaky ninja-attack that just took place. I actually consider this a plus for me. Do they have a lot of bass? No, they do not, but the audio quality is still really clear, and, again, doesn't break immersion. They are comfortable. I have a friend that is absolutely opposed to on-ear headphones. I don't blame him, it feels like someone is constantly pressing on your ears. I share his sentiment, but until him, I never thought about on-ear headphones and why I tend to avoid them. Unlike the Valve Index's off-hear headphones, these do TOUCH your ears. When I showed him these, he was immediately turned off on the idea of them knowing that they will touch your ears. I can report, that unlike on-ear headphones, they do not PRESS against your hears. And, upon reflection, I'd say that's really the big issue with on-ear headphones: the constant pressure against your ears. Probably a big no-no for people who's ears stick out some. These sit very comfortably against your ears. The material they are made from is a faux rubber. Very soft. I can see these being an issue in the future, though, in regards to their longevity. Seems like the same type of material that cracks easily with age and just rips apart quickly. We'll see, though. Cabling, though, is somewhat of an issue, though I wouldn't blame these headphones, necessarily. They're made for both V1 & V2 PSVR headsets. I have a V2, so I bundled the excess cabling together with and using a velcro strap, bound it to the PSVR cable, so I only have to feel the weight of one cable. I then pushed the cable into the groove between the back plastic and padding on the bottom side, and used a little electrical tape to secure it. Not pretty (not hideous, though). It is the bottom side, and no one will see it. I left a little slack on each side for both headphones, so they could be adjusted by the wearer. Securing the cable to the back made it so it didn't dangle down the bottom, and made it MUCH easier to get the headset on and off easily, without having to makes sure the cable was in the right spot. THE WORST THING about these headphones is that, without taking them off, I can no longer use the awesome portable headset case I own. So I bought a stand, and will probably make a dust cover to keep the thing protected. OH WELL, small penance to having a better headset experience. I'd highly recommend other PSVR users to get these, when they're in stock. They should have been standard, in my opinion, and we'll see, I suppose, what the new PSVR (that's rumored to be out near PS5's launch) will do for standard audio options.

Sound Quality, Comfort, Build Quality
Works great with the PSVR2. I've seen some reviews that complain about the sound quality, but I'm surprised at how good it is. It's certainly loud enough, and you get spatial sound clues from the VR environment. They sit on your ear, so they're very comfortable. The Sony Elite headset covers your ears, so you get the benefit of noise cancellation, but they're heavy and with the PSVR2 headset brick strapped to your head you don't need the extra weight. The Sony headphones also make my ears hot. This would make them hot and heavy, but not in a good way... Anyway, the bionic is a bargain at this price and it's certainly worth a try.

Works well, good sound, comfortable, but short cord
I bought this for extended sessions in psvr. I normally use my Sony platinum set but after long sessions (10 hours or so, i mean long when I say long lol) I get a headache from the pressure of over the ear headphones that have to go over the headset adding to the pressure of the headset itself. I thought these might be more comfortable since they wouldn’t add to that pressure any. So far so good. They just rest gently on the ears and I feel no pressure from them whatsoever so they should do nicely. The sound isn’t as good as the plats but it isn’t terrible by any means and is definitely decent. I’m not an audiophile so these will work just fine for me for most gaming purposes. I think I’ll save the plats for when I want extreme immersion but will use these for everything else because they are way more comfortable for sure and that was why I got them. The only thing I don’t like about them is the cord length. It’s too short. It’s probably fine if you have the newer headset though where you plug into the headset itself but I have the v1 with the jack and controls on the cord and not the headset and the cord for this headphones set isn’t quite as long (almost but just barely shorter) as the length of cord from the jack to the headset and it causes some awkward tension there. It makes the cord seem heavier and feel like it’s going to come unplugged and pulls against myself, makes it feel like I can’t turn my head as much. So I’ll probably have to still use the plats for games that need me to be very active with but that’s fine. The main game I play for extended sessions and reason I bought these was for werewolves within and I sit down for that game anyway and don’t move around much so for my purposes it doesn’t matter much but figured I’d mention it so others can bear it in mind. If you have the newer v2 headset though you should be fine. This is definitely a great concept and is way more convenient and comfortable than both over the head and in the ear type sound. I recommend. Just bear in mind the length of the cord. It’s pretty short. I wish it included an extension for those with the original headsets. But either way it’s still a great product.

Comfort IS Important. Excellent product.
Let's be honest, these should already be included with the psvr helmet because it's obvious that once attached they feel absolutely spot on aesthetically and sonically. They are easy to attach with the side clips and the sound from them is again, spot on. I like the fact that I can still here sounds from the real world and to be honest when I try headphones with the helmet It can feel a bit too closed in and tight on your head, and heavy. These just feel right and whilst they make putting the psvr headset on a little bit more fiddly, once on everything feels comfortable and the way the Mantis is designed let's you have full control of were you put the sound... you can tweak the earphones to perfection to find the sweet spot and its not difficult you grab the earphone and physically tweak it till it sounds its best... takes about 2 seconds to adjust. Headphones are the answer if you want total immersion and mega bass but for me this is too full on and makes the helmet feel clamped to you're head, so this is the perfect solution if you can take a slight drop in immersion. The Bionik Mantis also doesn't impede on what I would say is the main selling point of the psvr... comfort. Everything still feels extremely comfortable when your set up correctly, and for me at least I think having the sound really close to the ear compared to using the tv sound helps enormously with motion sickness. I get motion sickness on Eve Valkyrie really bad, but only when I have either headphones or earplugs on... when I attach the Mantis its not half as bad. That might just be me but the Mantis definitely works on certain games. The only slight negatives are like I said before, it makes putting the headset on a bit fiddly (you have to hold wires off whilst you put the psvr on) and it does add a bit more weight to the front of the helmet, not much... only slightly noticeable. Everything else though is brilliant and they look right at home attached to the psvr headset. Highly recommended.

Perfect for the PSVR
I was using the Platinum Sony headphones with my PSVR, but dealing with putting them on and taking them off separately began to become tedious. Also, if you left the headphones connected and set them down with the PSVR headset, there was always a change the frame or other parts of the headphones could slip inside the PSVR headset and scratch the lenses. We decided to try these Bionik Mantis headset for the PSVR based on a website recommendation and OMG they are PERFECT for the PSVR! The sound is even BETTER than the Sony Platinum headphones since these work so well with VR. The sound is great and how they sit off your ear really just adds to the immersion in VR. Its hard to explain, but everything sounds more natural. In addition, having them connected makes it feel like just one headset your taking on and putting on. Its so much easier to jump into and out of VR, it just makes you want to play more. I did have to re-position the PSVR headband to rest lower on the back of my head so the speakers would be perfectly over my ears (my head is a little taller than most). However, this actually is the recommended location from PlayStation on how to wear the headset. Before, I was trying to remove the gap on the bottom of the headset thinking it would increase immersion; however, all it did was make it tighter on the top of my head. These headphones made me re-adjust and now I see thing even more clearly in VR and have the small gap for air to keep things cool so I don't sweat as much, don't have the pain of a tight headset, and the sound is great. All this ads up for a better VR experience. I highly recommend these for anyone with a PSVR which will immediately make it feel like the Vive Pro/Valve Index as a premium VR headset.

Works on Quest 2 but bad UX
SPEAKING FOR OCULUS QUEST 2: Two wire design is horrible, all these wires get difficult to strap correctly when the furthest one - tugs the headphone it’s connected to. Happens all the time. A hassle to get in and out of when entering, exiting VR again, because of that two horrid wire design. Headphones don’t sit exactly on your ear, it’s like they are slightly flaring out and you cannot straighten them. The grips which are used to grip the headphones onto the sides of the quest are not the right size if you have a halo strap or elite. It feels like you’re going to break them, to get them fit. Actually, you do have to break the side grippers, to force to open wider, so they can overextend it’s jaw opening, then you can close them back. So.. it works in that sense, but it’s a huge hassle to deal with. Sound quality is Babbage - horrible. Nothing to speak about. Should you buy it? If this is what you are looking for, (avoiding big bulky overhead, headphones) unfortunately this is all we have. These suck but again, it’s all we have. These crappy headsets are *survivable* until something better comes along. Shocking no one else has stepped up and made a Quest 2 version with way better wire design and sound quality. This is a no brainer that it would sell. Sound is a huge part of VR

Works great!
The Bionik Mantis Attachable VR Headphones, specifically designed for the PlayStation VR2, have provided me with an exceptional and immersive audio experience that stands head and shoulders above the competition. Comfort is another area where the Bionik Mantis headphones excel. They've been designed with long gaming sessions in mind, providing a level of comfort that is second to none. The headphones are lightweight and have a perfect balance that ensures they don't become a burden even after hours of use. The adjustable clips ensure a secure fit for any head size, and the soft padding on the earpieces feels luxurious, reducing any pressure or discomfort. The fact that these headphones are attachable and integrate seamlessly with the Playstation VR2 headset is another plus. This feature not only makes the entire setup more comfortable but also reduces the hassle of dealing with separate wires or additional equipment. This streamlined approach to VR gaming is something I've been longing for, and Bionik has delivered it flawlessly.

Works great for Rift S
Be careful when installing these on a Rift S. You do have to stretch them a bit beyond what they want to go. Install them as far back on the headband as you can where it seems to be a bit thinner, and then slide them forward. I accidentally stretched them to the point where the bottom portion came out of the top portion, but I just pushed them back in and it was all fine. The sound isn't fantastic, but pretty good and these really are the best solution for integrated audio for the Rift S. Depending on the shape of your head and how far down the Rift S sits on your head, the headphones may not quite reach the middle of your ears, so you may have to do some adjusting. Either way, they're a great audio solution for the Rift S and well worth the compromises over a set of over ear headphones which are a huge pain to put on and take off.

Convenient and ergonomic
I moved to these from a pair of Sennheisers, so they had a tough act to follow. Yes, initially I did notice a slight loss in sound quality, this would have been an issue if I was using the headphones for music, but for gaming, after a few minutes I noticed little difference in sound quality, but a big difference in convenience. The headphone click into position over your ears nice and snug, but can be clicked into a second position away from your ears for ease of putting the headset on and off with plenty of clearance. Cable management requires a bit of thought. I used a 30cm extension cable and then taped the cables along the back of the headset and then to the main headset cable so that the cables don't get in the way when putting the headset on and taking it off. After about a month of use I have no niggles or complaints. Recommended if convenience is important to you.

Best headphones for Quest 2!
Great product originally designed for PSVR, works great for the Oculus Quest 2! It’s important to note I am using the BoboVR M2 PRO head strap. I wouldn’t use them with the cloth strap that comes with the headset out-of-box. I feel that they would seem to flimsy and you’d be adjusting them all the time. I’m lucky, my head shape and headstrap fit allows these to fit over the ear perfectly, it may not be like that for everyone. Its not a problem to keep the cables neat. The sound is loud at max, I have to decrease volume 2 times so it’s no problem that they’re On-Ear vs. Over-the-ear. Throw on a game and you won’t hear anything out of headset with your volume up. Sound quality is great too I was pleasantly surprised…They won’t sound like a $350 pair of the latest Bose but they more than do the job and are comfortable to use. I am extremely satisfied with this product. I can’t comment on the durability yet. As a precaution I just have to pay attention when I put the headset down as I personally don’t want to rest the weight directly on them, but you can pop them outwards to remedy that. Great product, exceeded expectations! I highly recommend it, though with different head shapes, ears and head-straps you might experience a different fit. A+!!

filmsy but sound is better than default. (oculus rift s)
finally get a better sound than the default but attaching it seems to be quite challenging. it feels like going to break but when its attached it feels right fit in. the plastic material make it feels cheap. at least it help make the sound much better but not great. i would still recommend.
