I’m extremely pleased with this Regalo Extra Tall Baby Gate and would happily give it five stars. It has been a fantastic addition to our home, providing much-needed peace of mind when keeping our little one safe around doorways and the bottom of the stairs. Sturdy but gate very narrow
It's a good, sturdy gate. Knocked a star off because the actual opening gate is very slim/narrow..not ideal for the bigger person or getting things through..like..maybe a shopping trolley or buggy..no mention of this in sizings.

good gate but the metal doesnt seem as strong as my old gate can see it pulling out when the dog grabs it

Attractive Design, Poor Functionality
I wish I had paid closer attention to the reviews before ordering this gate. While it looks good aesthetically, unfortunately it is not fit for purpose. The gate lacks stability, making it unsafe and unreliable for use around children. The overall functionality simply isn't there, with loose connections and missing threads on the screw-in parts for the extender, making proper installation difficult. For a product designed as a safety gate, these issues are unacceptable. Thankfully, I was able to find a cheaper alternative that installed easily and feels much more secure. Overall, I would not recommend this product due to the safety and quality concerns.

Good but easy to work out.
Good gate. But my 4 year old worked out how to open the thing rather fast which has completely ruined the whole point in why I bought it 🤦🏽♂️

Excellent to keep dogs out!
We purchased two of these tall baby gates—one to stop our staffy and French bulldog from going upstairs, and another to keep them out of our office, which doesn’t have a door. The high ratings from other buyers influenced our decision, and we’re so glad we listened! The gates are great quality and work perfectly to keep the dogs out. Excellent price as well. Highly recommend this design! Also, it arrived within 24h - super fast postage!
