So I was going to give this 4 stars, but I decided to give it 5, why, well the quality is better than the original, the reason I was going to give 4 was actually the hose length, it is quite long, this has it's positives and negatives, positives it really can go further than you need so saves you pulling the Henry so much, also the stairs and this is a huge bonus, okay Henry is a heavy and putting it on a step of the stairs is somewhat hard work for someone who is quite small and doesn't like lifting it so this is huge for me, the only slight negative is the hose gets in the way at times, so your having to swing the hose out the way, I can live with this though because of the positives, other benefits is I feel the quality is better as I said, the material used seems stronger than the original, the original broke quite early on in the Henry vacuum itself, I managed to stuff it back in, in the end it did split at the vacuum end, unfortunately I couldn't cut it off and put it back in because of what I did, it also kept coming off at the other end, the bit where you attach the tubes on, hopefully this won't happen now, I'm really pleased with the quality, maybe if it splits again I'll get a shorter hose, not the fault of the company, I should look into it more but it fit my Henry Extra perfectly and I was concerned it wouldn't but it did I highly recommend this hose to a Henry or Hetty owner

Excellent value

I bought this to use my Henry in the garage as a dust extractor for various power tools (so I didn't need/want the long metal pole). It's a bit longer than the flexible part of the original hose and seems fine. Build quality is not as good as an original component and the end of the hose is only glued into the hard plastic nozzle - after a few weeks the glue failed and the end fell off. Easy enough to repair, but I actually found that the bare hose fits my power tools better!

Longer, and certainly an upgrade to the OEM version, but the Plastic handle that attaches to the metal holes after three times of use developed a large ‘stress fracture’…..and today it just cracked…. Time to get that good old scotch tape I guess… BTN

Good what we need

Great Hoover Hose. Much better than the one that came with our Henry Hoover. In fact it’s made Henry Hoover even better, seems to be much stronger and because of it’s extra length Henry gets hauled about much less. I’m actually thinking about buying a second one of these in the new year as a back up for the future. Excellent service and product from the seller. More than happy with my purchase. Highly recommend if you’re a Henry Owner/Lover like me.
