Fantastic and great value
Solid and looks great. Note that not all 5-pin keys can be re-keyed. The key I wanted to use wouldn't re-key as it didn't fit in lock I think because the long groove along the key needs to be on the left side of the key and the one I wanted to use to re-key has the groove on the right. So for my 7 locks I will use one of the included keys as the master key to re-key the rest. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the Pismo in Satin Nickel. If a dead bolt is needed it appears that the Pismo dead bolt is only available with the full set which includes the door knob and can't be bought separately. Install is not difficult. On new doors the hardest part is making sure the latch holes in the door frame line up with the latches. The hardware is heavy and solid and built to last and withstand the elements. I'm replacing all my old interior door knobs with Pismo interior privacy door knobs to match.

Good kit with the option to re-key
Great install to replace older units. Fairly simple to install - with a longer phlilps drive. Kwickset has the smart lock option - re-keying made easy for the homeowner. I have used this before but still needed the instructions - simple and quick. For new installs it is absoluetely wonder. For replatement installs be ready for the normal bored out holes and bent slides. I was able to install this unit in about 20 minutes even dealign with the old door frame and badly allgned door. Very good kit.

Pricey but worth it
We had lever action door knobs until my dog learned to open them. Found these, though a bit pricey, they are very solidly built and fairly hefty. Installation was a breeze. Being able to key the front and back doors the same was a real treat. LONG bolt and well designed bolt plate that improves security over less expensive locks. The locks work smoothly once installed. Recommend these over the cheaper locks. They're worth the extra $.

This set is great. Looks nice, feels solid. VERY easy to rekey and fairly easy to install. I'd recommend installing the deadbolt first.
