Very happy with the container which I bought to store cakes .

works perfectly for 3D printer filament spools, assume food would work too if needed.

There's nothing wrong with the product but I find myself disappointed that the size of the internal container is smaller than I expected because the dimensions specified in the listing are measured from the outside including the clips. I bought it to keep a 23cm Christmas cake airtight before icing and it didn't fit. Inside, the container would only fit a 21cm cake comfortably I think. The next side up is enormous and would allow too much air around this type of cake I think.

It's a sealed container. The seal works. The plastic is robust and likely only brittle if abused straight from the fridge or freezer. What's important for me is that the size is perfect for a single spool of 1kg, or two 0.5kg spools of 3D Printer filament and silica granules to mitigate moisture. Exactly what I need and at £6.29, great value for money. It's a pity that Amazon appears to have realised their value to makers like me and have increased their price by 20% to £7.55!! :o(

Bought to keep small rolls and wraps fresh. Works great. Also ideal for afternoon tea cakes and small family size pies.

only container i found for round cakes. trick is to put the cake on the lid, then drop the container body on top. keeps the icing intact and you don't have to move it to cut a piece.

These are not big enough for standard size wraps. Still hang over the edge by 1 or 2mm

Update: The price just jumped +50% from when I wrote my review. Cannot recommend at almost $30. Wait and see if the price drops again. New update: Now the price did drop again, so just keep an eye on it! Five stars for rating the product itself, and 3/5 stars for "value for money." While unreasonably expensive at the time of this review, the containers really are excellent for storing one-kilogram rolls of 3d printer filament. I got tired of messing with plastic bags and didn't have the space for bulky, multi-roll solutions or multiple filament dryers that can't stack. These are exactly the right size for one standard-size spool of filament—though my old roll of Prusament doesn't fit, the five other brands I have all fit perfectly. The other brands of storage containers I've looked at all have bottoms that curve inward, preventing the roll from fitting. Be aware that (as of the time of this review) the product dimensions given are wrong. If you're buying this for filament, you want the one that says "2.5ltr" at the top of the page even though the dimensions it gives are 8.6 x 8.6 x 24.5 cm. I first ordered the one that looked like it was larger because it said the dimensions are 21.5 x 21.5 x 8 cm, but that one's only 1.6 liters.

I store my filament for 3d printing in these. Its a snug fit (height) but all brands of 1 KG spools fit.

Très bien Il se ferme facilement et aucun liquide n'en sort. Il est également parfait pour ranger des plats qui se trouvent généralement dans une assiette recouverte d'un film épais.
