Excellent quality and real leather at an affordable price
I subtracted a star because this bag is really not suited for mallets. I always carry a mallet/stick combination like the Zildjian John Riley of Dennis Chambers model, and even with the small felt heads the bag was a little difficult to close. On the plus side, though, is it will accommodate super long sticks that are currently in vogue. A 16.5 or even a 17 inch stick will easily fit. I have three pairs of sticks, a pair of brushes and a pair of mallet/stick combo in mine to illustrate the room. I also provided photos showing the bulge from the mallets to give folks who use them an idea of how well the bag will support their needs. I actually carry two pairs of sticks, and one pair each of mallets and brushes, so the bag holds everything I want and then some. The leather is first rate and the zipper seems to be as good as the ones on my Reunion Blues stick bag (and that is saying something!)I am not wild about the hanging straps and hooks assemblies. The string is a better system for me, but the manufacturer somehow felt the need to include both. The Straps are adjustable, but take up space inside the bag that I feel is a waste. In fact, I am convinced that if the straps were eliminated the mallet issue I mentioned would be solved (or at least mallets with larger felt heads would not be problematic.)Overall though, this bag is genuine, high quality leather made from goat skin, has good stitching and zipper, and sells for about the same as some of the canvas bags on the market. There is real value in that. Also, it will probably last for decades of proper care is taken.

Great Bag for the price
I really like this bag. It seems to be good quality and the pricing is amazing. I think the leather will wear nicely as it ages. It's a pretty good design which will allow you carry a decent number of sticks. It's a bit longer than some of the bags I've had, and has three sections on the interior so you can divide your stick/mallets/brushes. The external Pocket is really good and has a depth of about 2" which will let you easily put Moongels, tuning keys, a small practice pad, and most other types of accessories you would typically want to have on a gig.I had to take a star off for a couple reasons:There is an internal strap which I have no idea what it's supposed to be used for. It won't buckle tight enough keep sticks in, and not long enough to somehow mount it off of a floor tom. Maybe I'm dense, but it doesn't seem to have a purpose, and the buckle was showing a bit of oxidation when I opened the package (If that had included a desiccant it probably would have helped). The Zipper goes from the bottom to the top of the bag. This means you have to completely unzip the bag to be able to access your sticks. I often times will just zip open the top if I am just grabbing a pair of sticks to practice with, or play at an open mic. Those are very slight design issues, and I would completely recommend this bag to any drummer. If they do a redesign fixing the zipper side, and remove, or replace the interior straps with something useful. I would completely order another one and update my review.
