No, it is a bit small: a nu breeze aired W=88. Dry:soon w= 66

Can it manage heavier laundry like sheets, towels and jeans?

The straight answer is yes but with due consideration to the structure and they need to be hung and folded as least as possible. If you overload you are wasting your time as you need a reasonable air flow. Tip .. use your washing machine on spin dry with towels jeans and sheets etc on high speed to extract the most moisture first. It will decrease the drying time considerably.
