Absolutely perfect.
I love Le Creuset and I love Camembert and for £35 this was perfect.I got it because for last Xmas, one of our starters was a Camembert and bread ring from Morrisons for £5.50 which was pretty rank. This year on Dec 23rd, I got one of the two lait cru {unpasteurised} Camemberts they had left in Sainsbury's for £3.50 which was lush baked in this with some Armagnac and rosemary. We've used it loads in the last year with Camembert and St Felicien {which is also highly recommended.} As it will last for yonks, it will pay for itself. If you liked baked cheeses, and have 35 quid spare get it. Cos you won't regret it.You could try your own depending on taste - maybe grated Cornish Cruncher or Comté with a splash of whatever white wine you have {or cider} and a few herbs? Stick some slices of bread in the oven with it for the last 5 mins or so then cut them into batons.Brilliant invention. No complaints or cons at all. Look after it and you'll be leaving it to a loved on in your will.

Great for baked Camembert and other cheese; also good for other uses
Generous size for Camembert / Brie. Very nice ‘table presentation’ and can be used for other small baked foods or a nice serving dish hummus, dips, etc.

Attractive & useful
Was tempted to buy this after my sister described the wonderful baked brie dishes she enjoyed on holiday passing through France. It’s a useful size - not just for a brie, but also suitable for small crumbles etc

L:ike all Le Creuset: once you see and feel it you you get why it's better... and expensive..!
I felt this was overpriced (and in fact it is) until I got it and then you can quickly see why. I bought another one at half the price and returned it in favour of this one: very glad I did..!Le Creuset have the knack but you sure do have to pay for it. It's ALWAYS worth waiting for the sales and shopping around.

Using it at the moment and have used it already a couple of times. Fabulous and cleans up beautifully afterwards. Good buy.

It does a great job
Looks great and heats the Camembert very well.I use it to serve on the table as it keeps the cheese hot and looks fine.

Soft cheese taste so much better, also use for pates, chorizo, kievs, sardine paste
Put Camembert in baker, make some cuts in cheese, add sweet topping of choice, jam, honey etc. With or without chilli. Heat at 180 degrees c for 20 mins and all done. Works better with lid on in our hands. Now use to store homemade pates, sardine paste, cooking chorizos and homemade kievs, so in constant use, and far more versatile than original use stated
