Great book
A very enjoyable book to read, with lots of useful ideas. It was good to read a style dressing book written with good humour. Well written and a very pleasant read.

Not what I expected
Gorgeous looking book, beautifully illustrated and some great content - however there was so much of this book that was irrelevant to me. I'm 50 years old, don't own a dog, I am not poorly and have raised my children. In trying to be something for everyone it left me feeling dissatisfied and disappointed. Shame because I look Erica and her previous book was so good!

Not Kindle friendly, get the paper copy (or accessing on I pad) if you want to read it hassle free
Ordered this as a follow up to the author's other book "Leopard is a neutral" which I enjoyed. Sadly the standard sized text within chapters of this book is so badly reproduced /small/half printed that it's very difficult to read either on a standard kindle or via the Kindle app on my phone. It's fine on kindle for iPad but anything smaller has you trying to make the text large enough to read for every page, only to find it's so badly reproduced that it appears fuzzy almost like an out of focus photograph which is a shame. The information in the book is interesting - if you can access it - but it's probably a better reading experience in print format.

Does not cover retirement as a life stage!
I sent for this book with high hopes, as a recently retired person, who has no idea what to wear. I do not want to wear Fatface or White Stuff, appliqued with little dogs, no do I want to wear the young, girly stuff: some advice would be much appreciated. I was sadly disappointed and had to return it yesteday, as there is no advice here at all for a major period of life. I sadly assume that I am meant to look at the small section on avoiding Frump? There is lots of advice for menopausal women, all good stuff, but that was 20 years ago in my case. I also assume that the author has not got there yet herself, so perhaps has no ideas on the subject? Oh well, shall have to keep looking and hope I can eventually find advice elsewhere.
