Mesh Crown Safari Men's Sun Hat, 3" Brim, Adjustable Chin Cord, UPF (SPF) 50+ Sunhat Protection

I've never owned a hat like this before. I've always worn baseball/dad style hats. I've wanted something like this for a while. I have a pretty large head and XL is my size. This hat is light weight and will keep my head from overheating. It was also packaged nicely in a pretty large Panama Jack box. The hat came with protective insert and a protective band around the outside. I may hold on to the box just to protect the hat. I've seen hats that were much more expensive than this that didn't seem to be any nicer.

Arrived on time and in good condition. This hat fit perfectly and looks good, I am a happy camper.

This safari hat was very comfortable to wear. The mesh panels kept my head cool, even in warm weather, and the wide brim provided excellent sun protection for my neck and ears. It’s a great choice for spending time outdoors. Or on an African Safari.

Feel like this hat should be $15-20. Brim and top feel like paper, you feel and hear and crinkle. Looks like it will get irreparably bent if you packed it in a bag. At this price point you should spend an extra $20 and get a properly nice hat. Also slightly smaller than the size chart says.I’m returning, I recommend you stay as well unless you see it listed for $20, then maybe it’s worth it but I wouldn’t expect it to last long. Not what I expect from Panama JackAlso to clarify for the AI, it is not comfortable, for some reason it thinks what I type is giving it a positive review for comfort, which I am not

I am always worried about buying hats online. Are they going to fit, are they going to be shipped in good condition, etc. However, my older safari hat (this same make and model) was starting to disintegrate, so I decided it was time to buy a new one, and with shopping limited due to COVID, I decided to just buy one online anyways.The hat itself has a nice large brim that is made of a very light weight, breathable material, the best on the market. It covers the neck area well which is important if you are out in the sun a lot and my neck has not gotten sunburnt yet while wearing this hat. The mesh on the top is breathable, but I do feel like these hats let in a little too much sun, but I was going to get another one just because they are great hats all around.This hat is great (a 5 star product). It is breathable so that you don't get too sweaty, and looks nice. However, shipping made this hat unwearable.Unfortunately I had to return this hat. One of the great features of the hat is that it has a wire around the brim which help make it keep its shape and look nice. The hat was shipped in a plastic bag, folded in half. Because it was shipped this way, the metal wire was bent. You cannot easily reshape these once they are bent like that. It is one of their best features, and is was not shipped well and therefore ruined in transport.If I knew it would not be shipped like this, I would exchange it. However, because of the way it was shipped, it just needs to be returned.

Quality made as expected! Inside band is made of good material. Color as expected. Going to order another soon!
