Stone Coat Countertops Epoxy Resin Kit for Countertops, Bar Tops, 2 Gallon

I have purchased stone coat, clear, epoxy resin on several occasions and have never been disappointed at all. The quality of this resin is second to none and while it is somewhat expensive, it is worth every single penny if you are looking to accomplish a high-quality job. I have used other resins and the consistency of stone coat far outweighs the sometimes less expensive resin available. The Boat countertop project that I just finished came out extremely well.

Good product. Recommend. Used on outdoor concrete countertop. No odor, easy to mix and use. Caution you to follow the directions and have plenty of plastic down on the floor to protect against drips.

I create artwork for a living and I use this to finish my art with because it’s relatively easy to work with (ie mixing up, bubbles, viscosity) I also have found that it won’t yellow like other brands have. I’ve even tested it outdoors and its held up great- although they don’t recommend using it for outdoor items. Overall the quality and reliability of this epoxy is superior to any other I’ve tried thus far. My one issue is that it’s so expensive I can’t afford to use it on every piece I want to. I wish it was less expensive for the gallon size kit, but everything else about it is unbeatably solid.

I have used Stone Coat Countertops for every one of my Epoxy projects. It is the very best on the market. Please understand, it will scratch. There is no Epoxy out there that won't scratch. But it is incredibly durable. I have done my Bathroom countertops, my kitchen countertops, my very large barnwood bar and bar sink, and several tables. You can also go to Stone Coat Countertops on You tube and watch all kinds of tutorial videos on how to do it yourself. Best product by far!

Was not worth the extra money. I purchased our promise brand epoxy for my first project that brand was extremely nice to work with. On my larger project vanity, I decided to spring for a more expensive epoxy. While the finish result was good. I feel like it was more difficult to work with the stone coat epoxy with no real benefit over the cheaper epoxy.

Bought this to patch a counter top hole i accidentally drill through when mounting my dishwasher. A little thick to mix but no discoloration, clear in color, no odor and I've sat hot pans on that one spot and pretty heat resistant. Apply a torch or hair dryer to it to remove the bubbles. Super effective.

Excellent product.

Followed the instructions. Added one process because the surface was grease stained sandstone. KILZ oil base stain primer first. You can see the results. Not bad for a 72 year old women. Yes I have a few bubbles, but it's clean. Best money i spent.

We’ve used Stone Coat epoxy for multiple projects over the years, and it’s always delivered. The longer working time compared to other brands is super helpful when doing complex mixes. The final finish is excellent, and we’ve had no issues with yellowing. As long as you follow instructions, this is a top-notch product, and we’ve been consistently happy with it! It's pricier but can be worth it depending on the project. We used it for our kitchen cupboards this time.

Love the product. This was my first attempt so I kept it to a small project. Definitely more ambitious projects to come. All the on line videos made it a breeze.
