Sturdy decorative chest, easy assembly
Nice sized, sturdy storage chest. I'm using it to store items in a large walk-in closet but it looks nice enough to use at the foot of a bed. Arrived on time and packaged well so no damage to parts. All parts present along with an assembly tool (except for tightening the cam locks, I used an electric screwdriver to speed things up). Instructions were clear. Pay attention to screw hole alignment, cam lock placement, etc. and it will go together smoothly. Assembly took about 30 minutes once unpacked and parts laid out. You might need a second pair of hands for attaching the lid.

Sturdy and Nice looking.
Really love this item. We keep my grandson’s toys downstairs and this goes perfectly with our decor. Small enough to set beside our TV Stand and big enough to fit all of his toys. The top is very sturdy as he has climbed and jumped on it and doesn’t have a scratch on it. Good value for the money.

This 70 yr old Grandma build it with no issues.
The chest was easy to assemble. I just love the color and the quality of the material. I’m using it as coffee table and get great compliments on it.

Just a little bit flimsy but seems overall solid and was easy to put together
Got two for my mudroom so I could just dump the 1000 pair of shoes our kids have. They look great and have a nice design. They were pretty easy to put together and didn't take much time. i do like the double open/close mechanism, with little kids I'm not worried that their little fingers will get jammed if the top falls (because it can't). The only concern I have is with the front panel and the bottom panel. The bottom panel is either thin MDF or thick cardboard, i think it will hold up (it does have 2 supports) but i'm keeping my eye on it. The front panel is less thick than the sides and back and i could see a crazy kid kicking it. For the price though, these are great!

Great toy chest
Love this chest. Use it for my kids toys and is pretty sturdy and looks great. The soft close lid is great to make sure no one loses a finger. Would definitely purchase again.

It’s easy to assemble
It cute but my hinges suck. They are very stiff and I cannot use them to close the box..

Objective Evaluation
When evaluating this, or any other furniture, objectively, you must consider its fitness for the use, its material and price point. Given that, this is not an oak or mahogany piece and should not be compared as such. It is particle/pressed wood as advertised and valued, probably, around $49.00 at best. So, it is a bit overpriced (as are all he others). For an interior toy or light storage box, it fits the purpose. No complaints. Instructions are a bit vague in places, but a good review and common sense can figure them out. I would recommend, but with a few suggestions. Using the cam/screw connection on particle wood is not the best. Subject to damage. I used a good wood glue in addition to the fatteners. The bottom piece is like pegboard, reinforced with two slats. I kept the panel but added additional reinforcement to the bottom. The compression fit handles are not good, best to glues those together. Weight-wise? If you place 200 pounds directly in the middle of the lid so it is equally distributed, the unit holds. Off center, doubtful unless reinformed. Overall, it depends on the purpose the box is being used and budget. For a low price and low-end storage, then this is a good buy (just remember the suggestions) to make it better.
