SUIZAN Ryoba Double Edge Saw 6" - Japanese Pullsaw Hand Saws Wood Cutting

I needed a saw to cut the legs off a stool evenly. I set up 2 pieces of wood 4 inches high on either side of the legs for both measurement and so the saw could lay flat and I began to saw. What an excellent job this saw did! It cut quickly and smoothly, while remaining flat. The flexibility of the saw allowed me to hold the handle up while applying pressure to keep it flat. Every leg was perfectly and expertly cut off with baby backside smoothness! Highly recommend this saw!!

My first time with a flush cutting saw and there's no going back. The size is perfect for my little projects, it's cuts well, the blade is sturdy while very flexible, and it feels comfortable in the hand. I should have bought one of these years ago. And I love that if the need ever arises I can easily replace the blade.

This saw has been awesome! We've been working on a project and this saw has come in so handy for those fine little precise cuts. It's very sharp and does the job quickly and easily. Highly recommend.

Really a nice saw for taking off the tenon on a turned bowl during lathe work.

I have three Suizan saws now and they are great. Thin kurf, razor sharp and cut amazingly well. I won't hesitate to buy a different saw. My only caution is make sure and protect the blade from hitting and metal or rocks or anything else that might take the edge off. I can't imagine there is any way to sharpen them again.

My wife and I were looking for a nice, flush cutting saw and Suizan kept coming up so with all the great reviews we figured we'd try this one out. It's awesome. Simply awesome. The build is simple but feels so good, the cuts come out super clean with no effort, a really great cutting experience. You always hope that the tools you buy live up to this imaginary hype you've built up in your mind but the Suizan definitely surpassed our expectations. It's a great little saw that knew the assignment and knocked it out of the park.

I purchased the 6 inch version. I've used it mostly in joinery where I drill holes completely through both pieces of wood, push a dowel (with glue) through the hole, then saw off the dowel flush with the surface of the wood. This saw makes those flush cuts really easy and smooth. By putting the holes at a 45 degree angle in two directions I'm getting very solid joints with no screws or nails. It is also good for making dovetail and box joints, although I haven't used it as much for those . . . yet.

A difficult cut, not practical for machine cut. I am NOT good with hand tools, so I took a deep breath, threw salt over my shoulder, and went at it. The cut is straight at 90 degrees, the surfaces are smooth, and though it was necessary to cut from the back of the piece toward the front, there was no splintering in super dry white oak. This is a very nice saw, worth more than the price.

Primo seghetto di questo tipo che compero non ho posso fare confronti ma posso dire di essere soddisfatto. Flessibile e ben affilato. Permette tagli molto puliti.

lame fine ,coupe parfaitement bien ; alors pourquoi pas 5 étoiles :questionnement sur sa capacité à couper dans le temps ; payer un certain prix ne me gène pas mais il faut que l'objet dure dans le temps et là je n'en sais rien ,sinon c'est un bon produit

This saw is great for small tasks. I have sawed maple and walnut sheets with it, and thicker softer wood. Cuts are clean and require little effort.
