I bought a case of gluhewin, not our usual brand, wife says it tastes bitter. can i add this to mellow out the taste of the gluhwein? or wasting it?

Any suggestions for type of red wine to go best? Or cordials for the cider to go along with these spices?

In my opinion it’s best to use an inexpensive Cabernet, like in a box. Since you will be significantly altering the taste of the wine with the spices, why use a high-end bottle. I’ve only used the spices in wine and don’t know about cordials. The spices have a wonderful aroma.

Are the cinnamon chips organic? Where are they sourced from?

Cinnamon sticks are harvested from the middle east are mostly organic, but have not been tested to be certified organic.
